So you are still using your PS5 controller then? The only reason I would want remote play is to use a keyboard and mouse instead of a controller. I just got the Doom Eternal Deluxe for PS5 on sale for $17 and change. But using a controller for 3D environments is horrible. Is there any other way to connect PS5 to PC and play with keyboard and mouse?

I did everything and I still can't leave my console at home and play from my pc. It only works if we are on same network or close proximity.

@@dablazarus7303 Well with a bit of networking you can just VPN into your home with a remote pc and play that way. Essentially you'll remote through a VPN to a pc at home and then using that home pc to connect and play on ps5/4

Same problem here. Remote Play can't see my controller via Bluetooth. If i try remote play through my Iphone 6S, it's work normally - with DualSense and all.

when i connected to my ps5, i plugged in my controller to my pc and my ps asked me to create a new user for remote, i couldn't use my main one.. any idea why ? i don't wanna create another user just for that

i think you do need a controller but you can use it from a distance. last time i tried remote play was on the ps4 and i turned on my buddys ps4 (because we game shared) from all the way across town.

Any tips on enabling HDR, I have HVEC and HDR enabled and both my monitor and TV support HDR but when I use remote play it comes through as SDR only.

I want to use remote play on PC so friends on Discord can see my game, however, i want to continue to play the game on my PS5 monitor, how do i do that, cause when i turn my PS5 controller back on , it wants me to log into an account and when i chose mine, it turns off the Remote play Sigh

Not at all. You can even play from abroad if you pair the device you're gonna remote play on with your PS5 once.

I’m traveling here at my brothers house in California, I’m able to remote play on my iPad, iPhone, PC laptop but for the life of me can’t play on either of their huge tvs, which are Samsung and Sony tvs. The Samsung model is QN65R and the Sony is XBR-55X850B. I have a strange problem. I am using Remote Play 6.0.0 (freshly downloaded & installed). When I click Settings, the application closes itself. I am using official Windows 11 22H2. All my stuff is up to date. Reinstalling, running as admin, disabling full screen optimizations, etc. did not solve the issue. I cannot identify the problem because there are no logs for Remote Play app either. Does anybody have any idea? Edit: I solved it by turning off internet connection before clicking Settings.

it requires you to be on the same network, and not sure how you don't see it useful, You'll be able to play it in other rooms without unhooking it and rehooking it back in a new room
