For your output, you need to mess around with the settings for the capture card. You're gonna want to set the resolution to 1080p and the frame rate to match the output. For the colors looking weird, you want to put a filter over it to change up the colors to look like your actual game. I've had this capture card for a while now and occasionally there are instances where your microphone echos the game audio, I've been trying for over a year to fix it with no avail, but it doesn't really affect the stream too much, hope this helped someone 🫡

Thank You so Much!! This video is a God Send. I have been streaming on twitch directly from my PS5 with no knowledge that the stream was not picking up any audio. Someone who subscribed to me told me about streamlabs and connecting to a computer. I told them I would try it out and research a bit. This video really helped! I have a laptop with 12GB ram so I think I will start out with that. Then possibly buy a small form factor sorry streaming. I play my PS5 in the livingroom so it's a bit awkward to have a full set up. But seeing as I have a monitor, yeti mic and a laptop already, all I need are the little things to add.

When I started I streamed directly from my ps5 and used overlay expert to set my alerts brb screens etc on twitch. I used a blue mic with ps5 webcam. It can work it is enough but if you want an OBS setup you need to save up for a decent machine with dedicated graphics

Not yet for live streaming I suppose, but it's definitely a happy "yes" for casual gaming from me. You can get a lot of gaming per dollar nowadays for very cheap, it should be an enjoyable experience as long as you keep your expectations realistic :)

Love the video man. That's a great way to start getting people feet wet in streaming. The only thing that I wouldn't recommend is getting a gaming laptops unless you do alot of traveling. If you're going to buy a gaming laptop you might as well buy a mid size gaming pc. Laptops are just as expensive and tend to overheat faster. The buget laptops that you recommend don't have as great of a gpu in them other then the msi one. I would be careful on getting used laptops as well. Its like putting milage on your car. The more someone used it before you the less longevity you have with it.

Yeah, definitely a personal preference thing depending on what someone wants. I've used both solid laptop and desktop gaming computers for streaming with good results. The laptop I will say was definitely handy when in school to take to classes and such, but desktop is nice for a stationary setup as well as the fact you can typically get better parts for less. The machines I showed in video (that don't have dedicated GPU) are the cheapest options I would recommend for a stream setup.

the basis of the setup is in this video, but you cant tweak around the settings of the webcam and the capture card and get it to run smooth. I have this exact capture card, as is a generic chinese one, and it works great. The thing to keep in mind about this one is that it only can do 1808p 30fps and 720p 60fps, which is more than fine for someone who is just starting streaming and on a budget, since twich will only allow you to stream at 720p anyways, so you should just match the output of the capture card to 720p 60fps and you're golden. On youtube it will be sub-optimal since youtube will allow 1080p, but for someone starting, it isnt really a problem. Id wager the most important part, aside from smooth gameplay (you being good at the game or not doesnt matter, everything is content), is mic/audio quality. Spend some time tweaking your mic so it sound nice and crisp. There are loads of tutorials on this on youtube. Overwall this is a great cheap setup.
