Great lesson! As a guitar player, learning bass has really helped me to see those intervals on the fretboard and also identify which notes are present in the chords I'm playing. Purple Rain is a favourite of mine too, so it will be fun to play around with this. Many thanks and good luck with your 365days of bass! It would be a missed opportunity not to include a lesson on Anita Baker's Same Ole Love (365 days a year) ; ) In fact, some great bass on that whole 'Rapture' album, "Ready" Freddy Washington if i remember right?
