+Darren Lee. The guitar is one of the American Deluxe Series and it just the stock pickups that came with it. The single coils are the noiseless variety. Cheers

Hi Dave, really enjoyed learning this one and, as usual, your tuition is spot on. I wanted to ask you about one slight variation between your version and the official version. During the keyboard solo, you play the sequence Ebm9, Ab, Bb, B twice before reaching the C chord, whereas on the original it’s played once. Any reason for the difference? Thanks again and keep up the great work. Patrick.
@DavePriceGuitarist6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Patrick. I have just checked and this matches the record. I play Ebm9 Ab/Bb Bb then Ebm9 Ab/Bb Cb/Db before moving up the 11th chords.

Hey Dave - great tutorial. I was wondering if you had the rhythm written down anywhere? I'm really trying to get it exact, but I'm having trouble since you talked about some bars in up/down strokes rather than on the count.
@DavePriceGuitarist6 жыл бұрын
Cheers. Send me your email and I will get in touch regarding a chart.

Excellent lesson! Thank you very much indeed! Can I ask a really basic question? What gauge of strings and picks do you use/recommend for this style of playing? Cheers.
@DavePriceGuitarist10 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I use 10- 46 strings and generally use a heavy pick. Use what feels comfortable to you. Sometimes using a thinner pick makes strumming a little easier and I do this when playing an steel string acoustic guitar.

Thanks for the help Dave, Ive struggled so much to figure this song out. What do you recommend I do to strengthen my chord progressions ?
@DavePriceGuitarist8 жыл бұрын
+Abraham Hernandez You are welcome. Do you mean ear training? I developed my ear just by working out a lot of songs. Learn all the main chord types, not just the shapes but really become familiar with how each one sounds. That way it becomes much easier to identify when you hear a particular type in a progression. It's a huge topic and one I am thinking about turning into a course to teach.

Ab over Bb bass? More like 'Bb eleven' isn't it?
@DavePriceGuitarist8 жыл бұрын
It's the same thing. Most people find it easier to understand if you present it as a slash chord.

Yeah, I can see that. Thanks Dave!
