Hello squire. You really are becoming a very bad influence on me! I have watched a number of your videos now and I finally subscribed last night when I watched your '43 Year Guitar Journey' thing. I found that very interesting and at times moving, and I really must commend you for your authenticity and honesty. Love your Canadian-ness too (great accent!) and your love for quite a few of the same Canuck artists that I appreciate. Whilst Paul Kossoff was my first love, Alex Lifeson was the picture on my wall as a 13-16 year old. And that was B&W pic clipped out the NME here in the UK in about '78. Times were hard... Anyway. This song is full of great memories for me - my sister allowed me play her copy of 'Not Fragile' more or less to death (she wasn't too chuffed about that, mind you!) and I played it on a Dancette mono record player in my tiny bedroom for hours on end. Said gramophone was donated to me by my Uncle (who had a country place! - geddit?). I always particularly loved 'Rock is my life and this is my song' - but they're all great tracks. Roll On is a fantastic tune too with lots of classic rock ingredients - and as you mention, a brilliant driving song - it's on one of my DIY car CDs. But I am wittering now... Thanks mate! Yeah, it's been a long road. I'm pretty thankful that I've re-discovered the guitar again after all these years. Really happy to be playing again, and to have found somewhat of an audience for my hobby here on KZbin. Pays the odd bill or two as well which is nice. Hopefully within a year or two I can go full time at this. Not quite there yet, but I'm working on it.

Kelly, your instruction to a 61yo with 18months into guitar was great! I can get pretty close right after the tutorial! Even most of the solo! Teaching others IS your calling! I hope someday to do the same to encourage others to keep trying and enjoy the great guitar…and cool rock!! Thank you my friend!!!

Does anyone know an exercise or stretch that will help me hit that D-major Sus at the fifth, seventh, and 8th frets? It gets even harder going to the F sus…. I can’t quite hammer down my pinky like that…

I see so many great performances of songs on KZbin but please put a complete performance either at the start or the end. For example I have a lesson for Pat Benatars Hit Me with Your best shot and their is a performance at the end which I play to. If I somehow missed this sorry.

Great video. Just like almost all of your other ones. You actually make it look easy to the point where I think I might be able to come close to sounding decent.. LOL I've been playing guitar for over 50 years and I still suck
