Honestly, if they DID pull the plug on d&d, I'd be fine with it. As noted above, the books aren't going to walk off your shelf or device. And if you had everything tied up in Beyond, I don't think a reasonable jury would convict you for procuring archival pdf copies of things you literally paid for 🤷

It was the last PS1 game Sony released (came out just after the launch of the PS2) and aside from some jank localization (one box has Shana sound like she had a stroke) the game is AMAZING. Just... ignore the plot twist mentioned in the video here and let the story unfold.

Ok so I just had a revelation for a virtual next build, but they would be more like monsters: SCPs. Love your videos btw. It's amazing how you come up with more and more inspireful ideas. Holy crap how did I miss this? The Legend of Dragoon was my very first game and my favorite to this day! Just recently a 3 year campaign I was in ended that my boyfriend was the DM for, and my character's mother's name was Meru in honor of my favorite hammer wielding dragoon haha! I'm a month late to watching this video but I hope we get other builds from this game!

Ironically, I’m running a dnd campaign based off of this game, and I’m so glad to see others embracing my first and favourite game. Shame I didn’t have this a couple weeks ago, as rose was a boss for my party, and…they trounced her.

For a Pathfinder 1 Build for this character: Just get Summoner With the Synthesist Archetype, Gives you the ability to Build your own Dragoon Form (Permanent Wings are an Option! Along with WAY too many other things). Just Make sure you pick your Feats in such a way as to Have Weapon Finesse and Fencing Grace so that you can apply Dex to attacks and Damage... If you don't Feel like going "All in" on Dragoon Form Evolutions, Just take a few levels of Swashbuckler, It's Ability For it's abilities is also Charisma so you won't be Going "MAD" from using it while Gaining a few Rapier Specific combat Maneuvers (And Freeing up a Feat for Finesse since this class gives that for Free).... No, I'm not gonna police you about which spells to pick or Feats Beyond that, just try to focus on Necormancy and/or Gravity related ones.... Oh and Flyby Attack can be useful as a feat, as well as anything that might have it as a prerequisite, to take advantage of that Flight.

I dropped everything once I saw this clip. My god, Legend of Dragoon was so important to my formative years. I love that game and still have it on my bookshelf. Thanks for this, Tulok. You have no idea how important this is to me. Although small correction, the Dragon Campaign was 10,000 years ago, not 1,000 years, even though the game gets the math wrong with the Moon Child being born every 107 years.

Super excited! I have an LoD DND campaign. had to home brew the dragoon spirits (it essentially a class/subclass but tied to an artifact), but it's been really fun. Thankfully I have the LoD strategy guide which makes locations, shops, monster encounters relatively easy to translate. I made the game set a solid hundred-ish or more years ago, so a good chunk of the original characters are historic figures.
