just FYI you can't just take the wild tile anytime you want..you need to replace it with the tile it represents to take it

I know how to play be for you play a set your first set must have 30 or more points to lay down first.

The latest rules, dated 2017, state that the initial meld must be *at least* 30 points in total. So a player could, for example, play three 8s and a run of 1,2,3. My copy arrived this morning, which is why I'm scouring KZbin :-) Many thanks for your explanation.
