This is probably the best advice I have heard n a long time… I play CF n I’m 6,5 n I rely on my 1st touch n passes n play n motion being 240 lbs I’m not fast lol 😂 but I can use my size.. thanks for the knowledge

If i might help with some advice: As a former big boy myself. I used to play as a deep standing striker, and tbh that’s the most fantastic position if your not that much of a sprinter. But what i used to do before cutting weight was, during build up stand by the halfway line, and just wait for the ball. Once that comes make sure to keep it close (put your body between you and the one that try’s to take it), then either lay it off to your midfielder(s) or yeet that SoB to one of the wingers (preferably a cutting pass behind the defender) run towards the 16-box and just wait till your teammate gives it back. At 6’5/240 pounds a header or tap ins should do the trick. Trust me no defender in their right mind would wanna challenge that. AKA-> a target man/poacher combi

It's a nice video. I really enjoyed watching it! What I miss is: timing in asking for the ball, starting point when asking, direction of moving. And the way you play as a striker totally depends on the way of playing of your team and the quality of your teammates. If you tell someone to protect the ball as a striker or have it glued to his shoes, tell them how to make that more easy. Moving at speed straight into the ball with someone in your back is the most difficult way to keep the ball or even to pass the ball. So tell a striker how to avoid this situation and still ask for and getting the ball. Defending high on the pitch takes team effort and is useless explaining to one person. So I think it would be better to take a video like this in much smaller parts and explain it much more in detail. Anyway still thumbs up for the effort, because you do give good tips.
