23:18 You're an alright guy... Don't go on Dead by Daylight tomorrow... I enjoy the "toxicity" as it's just a part of gaming, talking shit is part of the fun, as is troll builds, I have made many like my SLUG only Wesker build. If anything makes you angry in the game you need to work on yourself as the only thing you have control over in life is your own actions and emotions, stop whining and exercise control and laugh a lot at others that are terminally incapable of it.

Is the second part targeted at me or a general statement to the public? I personally enjoy the occasional tomfoolery like basement bubba or something like you said, as long as they don’t carry it outside of the game or just go too far in general. If the survivors are down to clown, anything is fair game. My personal line is letting up if survivors are giving up or playing “normally” if survivors start to DC, since I see that as the time at which you’ve made your point. My issue with the view of toxicity being part of gaming is that video games have become mainstream to the point that many different kinds of people are playing many different kinds of games. Some people are really into it and love the kind of play you do, but others may not. A random construction worker who spent 12 hours digging ditches may not want to come home and play a quick game only to be left on the ground for four minutes, so I always try to play with the other side instead of against them so to speak.

@@agentofthespade I don't mind your playstyle, it's commendable to make efforts to have everyone be happy, and even more commendable to spread it, but the modern gaming landscape tries so hard to make that the mandatory way to play and I'm sick of babying thin-skinned people personally. I don't direct this at anyone in particular especially not you because I get the sense that you've enough experience in gaming to not be fragile and still choose to be nice. Outside of games I'm the nicest person ever, games are like an outlet and I can roleplay The Joker if I want to and pure chaos can ensue.

@@Guts-the-Berserker I absolutely understand. I have people freak out at me even when I’m playing as nice as possibly. Some people really do need to learn to take a joke, but I think the opposite it also true, that being some people in the DBD community should tone it down a little. I’m not saying you’re one of them, but we both know what kind of people are out there. I want to champion a balance between the two forces. By the way, thank you for having a genuine conversation. Such a thing is rare for Dead By Daylight players.

@@agentofthespade No problem, I genuinely enjoyed your video, the memes were on point and your audible disgust(which was also enjoyable) for "meta" builds will hopefully encourage players to branch out which just makes the game more unpredictable and fun. People lose a lot of creativity and autonomy by not engaging in theorycrafting and meme builds. Sometimes even the best of us have to check ourselves when we're having a "bad" game also.

I find in game toxicity funny, at the end of the day if someone gets angry at me for pressing a button on my keyboard or nodding my head then either they should get a grip, or something else has already pushed them to the point of being angry. In my opinion what's not okay is bringing it to the real world by telling someone to kill themselves or anything like that just because they don't like how the game went. As long as after the game you say ggs and move on it's all just for fun in a video game.
