Another excellent video. It just so happens that we actually live very near the Suwannee River in north central Florida. Did you know that the song was originally called "Pee Dee River"? The pee dee river is in south Carolina. Swanee is a corruption of suwannee, which is a native American word. Interesting trivia is one of my interests. Think county is Suwannee. The river flows from southern Georgia and all the way to the Gulf of Mexico...and there are alligators in and around the river.

Brendan, great tutorial on Swanee River. My question is regarding the fact that I've noticed you play well, and apparently unaffected on different pianos, and keyboards. Don't you find the "touch" of especially for old pianos much stiffer than keyboards? This presents a challenge to keep the tune. I have an old upright that is quite different to my keyboard. Any tips? Thanks, Chuck

Thanks for sending me three responses Tom. Remember to study the "Vigilant Citizen" website on the modern music industry esp Gaga, Cyrus et al. Also do some reseach into Monarch programming (especially with regards to Britney Spears). Then you might agree with me about Celebrity Culture. BK
