There’s one cool detail about Takeda’s fatal blow, every single attack button throws the ninja stars at a different angle. Some fly a little upward, some are straightforward, 1 always throws them with a downward angle but they can be aimed in a small degree

His combo timing combine with some of the inputs just make him feel extremely difficult to get going. I haven’t been on this game in like half a year, and came back just for him. But damn

The bf3, j24 timing is wild. But if you input 2 twice (j224) it will work every time.

@@lermaster7 I've been struggle a lot with it honestly so the bf3 after it when you start press j24 so the 2 which is triangle, you mean you press triangle twice so it becomes back forward low kick into jumping triangle and another triangle and circle so yes it becomes j224 cause iv been doing it bf3 j24 so again the 24 the 2 becomes another triangle, and it works everytime hopefully I do it cause the timing is difficult so much but thanks for th tip.

@@Aarondacollector The timing for back forward x, jumping triangle circle is wild. But if you input triangle twice (jumping triangle triangle circle) it will work every time.

Thanks @Super I was trying to pick this character up as my main to learn and master MK1 with but, he had so many options I was kind of confused where to start honestly and this guide should help me get started without being overwhelmed not knowing what to pick to start off with as this character.

Yea, I'm definitely struggling getting the timing down for Dash, St.4 into j. bf3 j.24. I can get it sometimes, but not consistent. I'm staying in the lab until I get it. My muscle memory is shot

I hate practicing shit and then the delay online fucks up my timing. I was consistently able to do B2 1 into BF3 Up. In practice. And I legit could not do it online. I played all night for 6 hours straight and I don’t think I pulled off that combo starter one time the whole night.

So i see everybody talking about the bf3 into j24 but what I’m struggling with is the freaking db2😭. I can never get it to connect but when I do it’s like super rare. The Takeda struggles are real💯.

I double press the combo starter cause I was too early so double pressing got the timing down

It took me a few matches online to realize that trying to do 12, BF3 to start a combo does NOT work if the opponent is holding their block button. They will recover in time to block the BF3 as it lands. So that's not an option despite it allowing you to actually input those buttons. If you're going to do BF3 your options are either 21, BF3 to start your combo or B21, BF3. There may be other ones I am not sure if F12 will work or not and this is assuming your opponent knows how to hold their block button during combos in case there are gaps. You didn't mention it in the video I thought that might be helpful. I use Cyrax personally because I like the net and shuriken setups but I was considering Ferra as an option if I'm struggling to win with Cyrax kameo.

Did you ever get it down? I'm struggling too, his swinging j-bf3 move and his j-db2 air spear move never seem to register or connect in a normal combo

It's likely just dependent on a lot of practice, I've played the game consistently again for about a month and a half after learning how to use the kameo system and now I've learnt how to be consistent with kenshi which I'd say is the most complex character in the game but easily the most fun I've had since I got the game.

guys please help me, I am learning Takeda for a week now, I want to do B21 + BF3(UP) + 4 ~ [] + 24 + EX DB2 + 1 + J24 + GRAB, I know this works from openers like B21, F12, B1, the problem is this, the only part which really gets me is connecting, linking that second BF3 to the standing 4, I can't link it consistently, I look at my button feed and that BACK is almost never there, I see in my feed just Forward 3, I get it sometimes yes, but I really have to think about it, please if you have any tips on how to do the BF3 linker into 2,4 or 2,2,4 I would much appreciate it...I would finally be able to play.

A lot of people are talking about how good B21 is, and it is good, but I personally like F12 because B21 has an armorable gap, and while F12 technically does, if they try to the third hit will still hit them and you can then go into BF3 for a full combo. The only person that this does not work with is Havik, and even still if you go into the BF3 overhead his attack will not hit you because you are now behind him.

Ferra should have a special ability called "Ferra Moans!" (a play on the word pheromones) Ferra lets off a distinctive cry that attracts the spirit of Tor to appear and help her. His brief appearance allows players to use them like they did in MKX!
