Go with JoCat's build and ask the DM to have a Lucky Sword disguised as a Infinity Gauntlet by the end the campaign Then Wish to have all of Tulok's build(with all the spells and stats) in your golden gloove with some colourful gems Afterwards cast the Wish spell to decimate half of the sentient life in the material realm Done, you balanced the universe! Well done. Extra: if somehow you can cast the Wish spell again, ask it to make the goddess of Death your girlfriend It doesnt matter if the DM screws this wish, it'll be accurate to Thanos's character

I'm not sure I agree with a few of the Soul stone spells, though given the number of times it's used on screen (that is, twice), I don't blame him for taking Hold Person and Hold Monster away from the Space stone, and Detect Thoughts from the Mind stone.

i really hate the color concept of the infinity stones. its always different. depending on if your first exposure was the comics, the movies, or the games, the infinity stones will be different. In my day this was the list Power- Pink Space- Purple Mind- Blue Soul-Green Reality-Orange Time-Red Even today I still struggle with remembering which fucking stone is which because its completely different.

The ability score increases (Int +2, Wis +1) don't lend to his physical power (they are tall, but lanky af at 6'6 and 200lbs). And the amphibious thing to boot. Thanos is much larger and more imposing.

Y'know, the full infinity gauntlet is pretty much just a magic item that grants free use of the Wish spell. Aside from the DM maybe granting the improvised wishes, Wish can also be used to successfully cast _any_ premade spell

"Tenser's Transformation" has some good points, but unfortunately it doesn't last long enough to don armor without a very generous interpretation of the Ready action (which means bad AC) and it's Concentration (which means if you take damage you risk losing your casting) so you run the real risk of being punched out of your super mode. What's more, you suffer a level of Exhaustion after using it and Exhaustion is VERY bad in 5e. It's still really strong on the offense though and the functioning defenses (temp HP and Con Save Proficiency) are pretty good. Just adding my 2 cents because you seemed to imply that this was as much for power as for flavor

@@roguepsykerhaaker4813 idk, they're all crazy OP. Probably the time stone so I could fix petty mistakes and not become too isolated from the rest of the universe and everyone in it. It's hard enough caring about the little things when you DON'T have an infinity stone. Shame none of them could give MCU Thanos enough imagination to come up with a better way to shape the universe. Like if you control everything, you could just double the resources instead of halving the population. Or make everyone permanently content even while they starve. Or mess with localized time dilation to slow everyone's metabolism. Or just scrap the need for living beings to consume for survival altogether and just let them die and re-cycle their souls/minds every so often. Honestly they should have just let Thanos be obsessed with Death like the comic. Maybe don't personify her if you're that dead set against camp, but really he could just be a guy that wants power and suffering. It would make way more sense than this like.... family-friendly eugenics bit they went with. Anyway, hope that answers your question

Didn't someone go over how he couldn't just make more resources? Matter can't be created or destroyed; so those people were turned to dust/ash but still turned to something. Creating resources would take something else (maybe those same people he harvested)? Even if he could then i think some science guy did the math and as all ecosystems do the abundance of resources only causes an exponential increase in population as well as consumption, it'd just speed up our devouring timer until the bubble finally popped; sure you make more resources, consume faster, more resouces, faster, more, faster, more, faster, eventually you're going to run out of room or resources will be consumed at such a ludicrous rate it'll be impossible to keep up.

@@crushcommando8637 even if he couldn't, what thanos did also just also just slightly delayed the bubble pop since populations grow extremely fast after disaster. What he *could* certainly do is give them all the knowledge that resourced were dwindling and how to make eco-friendly everything, which would give them effectively infinite resources. Hell, its probable that tech could even infinitely reuse anything as everything by rearranging the molecules, making new elements and everything with it. So yeah, thanos was just dumb.

Buddies of mine actually played with this build as a sorta 2 session boss fight against other level 20 fighters. Phoenix Wright had an Objection with Bigby's Hand, and the Objection caption then hit Thanos. And he interprets his Mass Healing Word, as Maya wanting Burgers, to which Phoenix called for a recess...and everyone in character just could believe this was happening. Great fun.

I thought so too, but I see why he went Half Orc. Half Orcs get Relentless endurance, savage attacks and Menacing, giving him proficiency with Intimidation. Which Thanos has all of those things in stride.

I think doing the Jump spell as the final Signature Spell at 20th level makes sense. Your Dexterity is suffering, and Jump provides some extra mobility for your character. True Strike is pretty good for this build, considering you aren't always casting spells. Sometimes you're just punching or slashing, and Trues Strike is great for that, since you have a great Constitution score. By the way, love the video Tulok. Been watching you for about a year now, and I gotta say, I appreciate every dad joke that you throw into the mix. Including the weird, but oddly catchy "Pokemon, Gotta Charm 'em All."
