There is a Congolese drummer who i think will explain this genre in a better way how we roll on the snare, better to call him : Thierry Caps. Cause as drummer myself, there is here some empty space that need to be filled and that make Seben (Makossa) different. He has also revolutionised the way we played it and everything about the fills/ break etc!
