I know this video was uploaded a while ago but I can’t appreciate you enough for showing us how to play it because this is absolutely one of my favorites. I could’ve have read the tab but I’m more of a visual learner

Hey firstly, thank you for uploading this, it's helpful! I was wondering how many times each riff repeats and when you alternate the bass note? Do you have it tabbed out somewhere for reference? Thank you.

Wait could you explain the hammering part a little more (note that I’m quite new to guitar)
@BjornBols2 жыл бұрын
No Problem I'd be happy to try and explain it to you! So normally when you play one note after the other you strum that string for each note, however when you do a "hammer on" or "pull off" you are essentially playing that second note without strumming again, the second note is produced merely by placing or removing a finger on a fret. So in that first riff for example, you strum the low e string with your first finger on the second fret then you move your middle finger onto the 3rd fret without strumming that low e string again, as the previous strum and the placement of your middle finger will be enough to sound out that next note. So while you "hammer on" your middle finger onto the 3rd fret you then strum the open d string. Hope that helps, there's probably videos on youtube that can explain the concept better!

Hello thank you ever so for such an awesome tutorial. Hate to be this guy but when you play the first riff in your example there are two extra notes that seem to make it but I can’t quite work out what they are. Thank you though for the fantastic video

i’ve been trying the pinky hammer on part for the longest time and i just don’t get that last part any tip?
@BjornBols Жыл бұрын
Are you making sure you're hammering on the B string from the third fret to open? The notes should be D (3rd fret on B) B (open B string) G (Open G string). Try playing along with the song to get the rhythm right, I hope that helps somewhat!
