Not many villains can leave such a shock on you as this guy, I place Tangle the lemur for a high place, always requesting builds for her from Sir Tulok (btw, please?) but I always had a soft spot for this self-taught genius that still is worth speaking when the "we hate spider-man" meetings are in town. Herman Schultz is your low confidence but great talent engineer and safe cracker that made vibrations a theme for superpowers one could buy into, enough to become a mercenary worthy of the rouge gallery! And a man who will look to get what he needs and run from the poker table with its money still with him, something that allow him to even work for the good side in the mane of self-interest. He might be a criminal, but any man willing to open a cat sanctuary cant be that bad.

Since the armorer can use INT in place of STR for checks, it just makes sense to push up DEX instead just for saving throws. That makes him a much better Spiderman villain.

The fact that a higher dex would have made him a tougher spider-man villain is EXACTLY why he had to dump dex. It's comics-accurate. When has the Shocker EVER been Spider-man's greatest threat?

I have a Tempest Cleric / Storm Sorcerer who is pretty fun to play. That Tempest Channel Divinity gives you max damage on a Thunder or Lightning damage spell. Pretty fun for Lightning Bolts or higher “Tier” Dual Shocking Grasps. *The only person who can shock The Shocker? Batman.

Hey tulok would you mind elaborating your stance on reflavouring stuff? In the Barbossa build you make a Point that youre using the Samurai subclass despite Barbossa Not being a Samurai because the mechanics fit the stuff Hes Doing. On the other hand i feel Like you often say stuff along the lines of "[character] is a [Race1] so we pick [Race1] instead of [Race2]. You can Pick [Race2] but then its Not [character]" when Race2 would give the build Something the character has/does. Especially when Race1 is human/CL where the Main Draw is the Feat that a build with Race2 can easily Pick Up later

So this is throwing me through a loop given how two of the biggest Thunder damage buffs requires Cleric and Sorcerer respectively (plus either Sorcerer or Scribe Wizard for thunderball damage conversions)... otherwise was not expecting to see Battlemaster with Thunder Gauntlets, but I can see there being some potential there. Oh and I'll never play an Armorer at a table that will not allow Thunder Gauntlets to be used with Booming Blade, that language on the reprints was a bad hotfix on a stupid exploit (using a component pouch in lieu of a weapon) which no sane DM should've ever allowed (outside of _maybe_ a well-pitched Monk).
