This is incorrect. The accelerated dragon has Nc6 for black, not d6. In the AD you deliberately do NOT push the d pawn one square, because you want to maybe save time and push two squares. The knight move makes various anti-dragons worse for white, because it hastens development compared to d6. If you were going to play d6 early before Nc6, might as well play Nf6 right away, get a normal Dragon and avoid the Maroczy Bind. Playing d6

Wouldn’t white do Pawn C4 instead of NC3 in the Dragon Acc.? Just wondering because then you cannot play d5 at all

Nice tactical disclosure on the uncastled King. I play the Dragon line all the time against +2000 rated players (I'm 1884) and find that many Yugoslav players don't know many of the complex pitfalls that await a misstep, missed tempo. Best game for Dragon players to study is the crushing defeat of Korchnoi in 1974 to the great Karpov; positional and tactical ideas and lessons abound! Very well presented...just curious, what's your rating??
