Roland Janes was also a great studio engineer. Jerry Lee,s left hand can be heard playing the piano part on Billy Lee Riley,s "Flying Saucers Rock and Roll" which has a guitar part worth teaching. Good Stuff Randy.

Any chance you could do a breakdown of James Burton's lead guitar work on the studio version of Judy Collin's Someday Soon found on her Who Knows Where the Time Goes album? Thanks to her voice, Buddy Emmon's pedal steel and Burton's lead fills and solo this was a massive hit for Collins and helped get Country Rock started. Although you can find vids about Emmon's Steel parts, NOBODY has ever discussed Burton's stuff ... and it only appears on this record.

Hi, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately that'S not really my style. I try to keep the channel focused o 1950s music since that's where my passion is. It's a beautiful song though, just not my expertise.
