Just found your channel. Its going to keep me busy for months, probably. ( slow learner, old) This is really my favourite type of acoustic playing. If I'd had youtube first time round , about 30 years ago, I might be as good as you by now, haha. No matter, I'm enjoying it immensly now, having returned to guitar during lockdown after a 10 year gap. I'm making myself sound ancient, I'm only 60 but I've got major physical issues after a road accident. Taking the guitar up again is an unexpected joy. Heya Chris 8D, what do you think is more difficult for, learning somebody's fingerstyle arrangement or making your own?, for me its both hahaha XD

Areej Khalid Hey Areej, I think it’s probably both too. I guess it depends on what song you’re learning. Having said that when you do your own fingerstyle cover you can make it as advanced or as simple as you want. There’s no limit!

so this means own version versions are better, at least they're easier and controllable haha , better get to work then and make my own pieces XD, by the way do like to create your own versions of songs or do you learn pieces from somewhere?

Areej Khalid they can be easier, but it’s pretty 50/50 I’d say. I do enjoy doing my own fingerstyle covers of artist’s songs but really I love writing my own fingerstyle instrumentals the most.
