This video leaves me with several questions. 1. Where do the Action Point cards come from? Do we search our decks for them or are they in a separate pile? 2. Each game we only get up to exactly 3 Action Point Cards right? There’s no way of having more or less? 3. Can we mix and match our Action Point Cards and cards in our decks or must they be of the same series? For example, can I have a Bleach Action Card, a Hunter X Hunter Action Point Card and a Jujutsu Kaisen Action Point Card? Also can I run Ichigo, Gon, and Itadori in the same deck? 4. Do we have a Leader card or designated main character that our deck revolves around or is themed around? It looks so much like Dragonball Super Card Game and in there we have different decks themed around different main characters. So this game is just draw random characters play random characters with no theme around a certain main character that would transform? Do our battle cards transform? Like can I start off with a regular Ichigo then overplay a Bankai Ichigo to “evolve” him or “level him up” or “awaken” him? 5. Is Yu Yu Hakusho coming to the US version of the game? Because when you think about it Hunter X Hunter is kinda just the Caffeine Free version of YYH. Bleach is Diet YYH, and Jujutsu Kaisen is kinda the sugar free YYH. 6. So the cards go to Energy first then the front line to attack? So, it’s like the hatching zone of Bandai’s Digimon TCG? 7. If Action Point cards don’t come from our decks can we use different sleeves on them to let us know not to shuffle them into deck? (Think Yugioh’s Extra Deck, Digimon hatch zone, DB Super Leader cards, etc.) Thanks in advance to anyone who has some answers. The more we learn of this game the more interested we can get our locals to try it.

Action Points are just three cards on the side when the game starts. They don't have types or abilities or literally anything unique. Think Don from the One Piece game with less utility. You could literally use anything in place of them. Pokemon energy, magic lands, One piece Don. Used napkins. Doesn't matter. 3 is the max. No commanders or anything. Your deck can only be cards from that IP. So right now will just be HxH set 1 in a few months we'll get set 2. If you play HxH deck it can only be from those 2 sets. They don't transform necessarily but you can get level 2 versions of some dudes that let you either play them straight on the board or on top of the same name. Like Shifting in Lorcana. They'll be ready to attack if you play them on top a dude. Or summon sick if you play them straight. Sorta like babies. You don't have to move them up can leave them in energy zone or shift them into a new guy and they move to attack zone. No idea on Yu Yu Hakusho. They got like 9 IPs (One Punch, Code Geass, Dr Stone are a couple) right now and they said they'd like to get more but game sorta already dying in Japan cause it's super mid unless you're an investor or artificial inflation collector. @@Dirpman42 Man I appreciate you taking the time to explain this game to us. So the Action Point Cards start the game off to the side in their own pile like an Extra Deck. They don’t get shuffled into a Main Deck, and come into Play one at a time each turn up to a Max of 3 which is what all players are allowed. They’re pretty much just Energy tokens or counters to mark your Energy Gauge nothing more. They don’t all have to be the same, from the same set, or even from this game as you could use Pokémon Energy Cards for them as they’re Counter Tokens. All decks are locked into 50 cards. No more, no less. It’s basically Dragonball Super minus the Leader Card, similar to a Commander in Magic, or Main Personality in DBZ. This game is more akin to Pokémon or Inuyasha where all the characters must be drawn into and put into play to fight. The Battle Cards can Level up or Evolve like playing a Cost 3 Super Saiyan Goku onto a Cost 1 Base Goku as a way to come out at a lesser cost and without Summon Sickness. Otherwise you can play them at their regular cost like paying 3 to play Super Saiyan Goku without transforming into him but if you play him regularly you pay full cost and he comes into play Summon Sick so he can’t attack that turn. Life is 7 like Dragonball Super’s 8 and nothing happens when they get low like No Awakening or anything because No Leader Cards. Instead the life is more like Pokémon Prize Cards being 6 random cards from the deck with no added gameplay effects except that you lose when outta life like any other game. Decks cannot mix IPs so No Spirit Detective Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho with Soul Reaper Ichigo from Bleach mixed with Jujutsu Sorcerer Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen. So if you play a Gon themed Deck you’re only allowed cards from the Hunter X Hunter Starter Deck and the Hunter X Hunter Booster Box. So then anyone playing a Killua themed deck I assume has the exact same card pool and limitations that a Gon themed deck has correct? Since they both share the same IP. This makes me wonder about a couple of things. 1. Since we can’t mix IPs I wonder if this would create Power Creep? Like, I see Bleach released in the game in 2023 and Yu Yu Hakusho came to the game in 2024. If the YYH cards were even slightly more powerful than the Bleach ones they don’t stand much of a chance because they can’t mix IPs. Both decks card pools are restricted to their corresponding Starter Decks and Sets. 2. If an IP gets more than 1 set to itself it would end up having a larger card pool and more to work with than others. So say Hunter X Hunter gets 2 sets to itself while Jujutsu Kaisen only has 1 set to itself the one would have a deck with resources available to be utilized from 2 card sets whereas the others cardpool is limited to that one set. Working with less is usually a disadvantage in most games. I both like decks being restricted to IP and dislike that. My wallet likes that it means I can skip starter decks and entire sets for IPs that I have no intention to play. But from a gameplay standpoint being limited to just the 1 IP means things could easily fall into being terribly unbalanced very quickly. It also means once you’ve got your deck set up from the 1 IP that you’re playing as you can pretty much ignore the other products from this card game as you don’t need staples or new cards for your deck as you can’t mix IPs. Hopefully my understanding is correct so far? I appreciate it.

This game seems cool, but it really sucks you cant mix anime, so that many later decks or later Anime are going to make the old decks not use able or not fun because of some new card.

2 things. 1.When you move cards from your energy to the front you need energy or not? 2. When you swing and opponent blocks and that card survive, can i swing to that rested card ? Or how do i clear the board?

So you can only move to the front from energy during the move phase. Other then that it seems pretty straight forward. I also assume cards in energy zone can't he attacked or attack till you move them to the font. Spike you can decide to put a powerful key card from front to energy during the move phase to protect them from an attack till you are ready to move them back to the front Did I get that right

Game should have went the Lorcana route of mixing the IPs. Seperated as it is I cant see it doing to much due to inevitable Power Creep leaveing some peoples favorites dead and buried. Same as Weiss Schwarts and Buddyfight. Why invest in a set that will be WHOLLY irrelevant in 3 months unable to make your deck better while other sets get expanded.
