Vinny, thanks for posting this one!!! After being a bass player for the past 39 years, I've decided to get into lead playing (finally) and this is one of those songs I've always wanted to play. Your method for teaching the parts is perfect for me, and I'm looking forward to picking up more from you! At least when I'm not running scales and patterns during my practice time...

Good stuff my friend. We, me and the Noisy Bastards, played this on garage jam nights. We had the jist of the chords and made up leads as we went. Good times. Now I can learn the correct leads.

what pedal set up is he using, I know thats not clean.
@aaroncohenour559Ай бұрын
how are you getting that sound? its not clean. gain on amp or pedal set up?

Back when I made this I was using the Eleven Rack Multi processor. It was likely a Marshall amp model. The 11R only had one slot for overdrive pedals which I usually ran the white boost (RC Booster) in that slot. Other than that I probably had a little bit of compression, a plate reverb mixed in at between 10-15% and finally just a little slap back delay with a single repeat at about half the volume as the original signal. Hope this helps.

Vinyl, in your solo you briefly go to the higher octave. What makes you go to the higher octave? Sincere thanks. PS. Walk softly lesson. Sorry, stupid IPad always makes these misspellings
@PowerTwangTV3 жыл бұрын
I thought that's was how he played it. I'd have to take a listen.
@Arthur-nw8yo5 ай бұрын
What kind of delay are you using??
@PowerTwangTV5 ай бұрын
It’s just a basic slap back delay. Appropriately 350-400ms with one repeat at 50% volume of the original signal.
