This is the best format for guitar lessons on KZbin. You do the correct amount of explaining for people with moderate skill. Very appreciated!

Chris, yours are among my favorite tutorial videos on YT. Simply some of the best. I especially like the Simon and Garfunkel vids. I also am in love with the tone of this particular guitar you're using here and in many other videos. Can I ask what model it is? And does it have the sinker mahogany back and sides?

Thanks Chris, so pleased to hear that you like my lessons! The guitar is a 000 Sinker with yes mahogany back and sides. Thanks a lot

@@SixStringFingerpicking Does it have the Adirondack top or no? And then what type of strings are you using? It just has such a sweet tone to it. Of course that might have to do with the person that's playing it too! Cheers!

Brilliant as ever, Chris. Just got your everything bundle and really enjoying it. Any plans to do Slow Dancing in a Burning Room? Would love to hear your interpretation of that, such strong melodies.

Thanks for another great tutorial. Your arrangement is absolutely beautiful. The only part I‘m having trouble playing is the Bridge where you play the A-Minor Barre Chord in the 5th fret. My guitar seems to have 2 frets less than yours. My 5th fret is like your 7th fret… so I can‘t reach all the strings for the chord. Is there any other way I could play this part/ chord in a lower fret position? I don‘t want to fail this song just because of this, because that‘s the best part of the song.
@SixStringFingerpicking16 күн бұрын
Hmm, that's really hard to answer via text. The melodic note is on the 5th fret on the 1st string, you could just play that with the bass note and sustain them, take out the barre entirely. Hope this helps

Thanks for your fast response. I‘ll definitely try your advice✌🏻 keep up the great work

Brilliant! 🎉 And is it normal that, let’s say, even though you can play 100 songs on guitar, you have to learn every single song note for note? It gets easier of course, but is it normal that even though I’m experienced each song needs time and practice to remember all the patterns? ☺️
@SixStringFingerpicking4 ай бұрын
Thanks, yes that's all very normal. Just keep at it!
