Right on Mark. The no slide, slide solo is just what was needed. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Mark, just time travelled back from your 2024 video. That solo without the slide is excellent. Think I just about nailed it (with 10s!)

Yes, use light or extra-light strings ... or rubber bands on this one! :) Thanks for watching!

Mark Zabel you bet, and a "Blue On Black" lesson by Kenny Wayne Shepard would be amazing. The solos in that tune are incredible and they're really no lessons out there currently of any quality. Would really help me out by doing that song! Thanks!

You got it. Officially on the to-do list!

Thanks Buddy. I've always loved this song too. The contrast between the "jazzy" part and the "rock" part always has a shocking appeal. Plus, Plant's singing is incredible too.

David Heidemann Thanks. This got silenced the first version I posted. I have my fingers crossed for this one. You never know with the Eagles or Led Zeppelin.

Ever thought of doing the blue on black solo by Kenny Wayne Shepherd? That would be amazing if you did, there's nothing out there of that high of quality currently.

... and here it is! :) Sure, that's a good one. I could do that. Officially on the list!

Hey Mark, could you do a tutorial on how to play Walk of Life by Dire Straits? Really struggling to get the right hand technique right
@MarkZabel7 жыл бұрын
Hi. Hmm. I'll give it a shot. I'm not really a good fingerstyle player. This is fairly straightforward I think, so I'll give it a try. Great suggestion!

Mark Zabel Thanks Mark! Looking forward to the tutorial!

Sounds good but thats not how Page plays in. He plays 3 fingers on the entire melody. His genius shine through by How Page develop the whole song while wearing a slide on his pinky

B Degley Yes, I know, and I say that in the video. I'm approaching the solo to emulate a slide without using one.
