Protection relay sensitivity and selectivity depends on the system maximum & minimum short circuit current.
IDMT characteristic of protection relay can be used for electrical protection system. IDMT (Inverse Definite Minimum Time) relay characteristic came into the picture in power system protection engineering when only Time grading or Current grading for relay protection co-ordination is not enough.
This video covers the basics and the advantages of IDMT i.e. Time/Current discrimination method in power system protection engineering.
This will take care of both the Time & Current discrimination method as well.
LSIG release with Electronic Trip Unit (ETU) can be used for the protection of LV system incomer, outgoing motor feeder or any other LV protection application. These are also known as Solid State protection system as called by some of the manufacturers.
Thermal magnetic protection can also be used for overcurrent and short circuit protection applications.

Is there any way to clip the current and see more than that current in the curve? I'd like to see the entire curve and the SC levels in one plot without having to add manually the current levels

I have 2 configurations, SC max configuration and SC min configuration in the OLV (one line diagram), Can I display the SC max clipping current and SC min clipping current from separate configurations, or is it only possible to show both maximum and minimum currents within a single configuration?

MAX and MIN SC values will be considered in TCC plot automatically once you Run/Update SC. These values are plotted based on the c-factors selected during MAX & MIN study scenario..
