Oh man, this was eye-opening, all this time I thought I wasn't getting the leg lift I want because my hips aren't flexible enough, turns out I'm just not activating the right muscles and my quads are weak! Thanks a million, great tutorial!!

so is it possible that I am just not that flexible and can't hold the pole with the opposite arm bc I can bend but I can't come back up without it hurting

Yes of course - in this case, practise the pre-exercise on the floor until your body feels ready to go further. Take your time and listen to your body ;)

I am having trouble getting into armpit grip I don’t think I have enough shoulder flexibility even tho I can do this trick from the floor

Mega cooles Tutorial, nur n Hinweis von anatomischer Seite, der Quadriceps beugt die Hüfte und streckt das Knie, daher müsste der Muskel, bzw die Muskeln, die du meinst die Ischios sein 😃

Try to lean forward more, so that your stomach lies on your legs. From that position, twist in your waist, look at the pole and then lift your hand to reach the pole.

Hallo :) ich habe die Kraft, ich habe das Momentum aber die Pose ist mir immer noch super schwierig weil meine Schultern so unflexibel sind 😭 könntest du mir bitte etwas Stretching-Übung empfehlen, so dass ich sie besser drehen kann? Vielen Dank, auch für das tolle Video 😊

Liebe Francesca, um die Rotatorenmanschette zu "ölen", empfehle ich immer folgende Übung: Du stellst dich hin und hältst entweder ein Handtuch oder ein Stretchband an beiden Enden fest und streckst deine Arme nach vorn aus. Die gestreckten Arme gehen nun hoch und das Handtuch oder Stretchband möchte an deinen unteren Rücken gelangen (die Bewegung ist wie beim Seilspringen, nur dass du dein "Seil" eng hältst). Von der unteren Rückenposition aus möchtest du wieder mit gestreckten Armen zurück vor deinen Bauchnabel. Diese Rotation wiederholst du diverse Male. Bei regelmäßiger Durchführung wird die Twisted Ballerina bald ganz leicht für dich sein ;)

Super Videos erstmal :-) !! Ich komm nicht richtig mit der Achselhöhle in die stange.. ich schaffe es nicht mein oberkörper richtig zur stange zu bringen.. habt ihr einen tipp :)

Huhu, vielen Dank ;) Vielleicht liegt es an deiner Dehnung im oberen Rückenbereich oder an den Schultern oder im seitlichen Twist. Ich würde empfehlen, die Bodenübung so lange und oft zu wiederholen, bis die Dehnung etwas besser geworden ist. Gib deinem Körper Zeit, sich an die Bewegung/Dehnung zu gewöhnen ;) Viel Erfolg ;)

Everytime I do this in spin I can't hold myself just with the upper hand, I lose the strenght and my hand opens letting me slip down. It's so frustrating, what can I do to improve?

Have a little patience with your body. It's not an easy move (I remember being on stage and having trouble grabbing my foot - people wanted to stand up and help me, haha, in the end, they all applauded when I finally managed to grab it). Try the floor version regularly and the rest will come soon enough
