Thats a LOAD of work, I applaud anyone that does that to a ProCharger. But they do look amazing....

It's really an art form. It turned out amazing
@AwesomeFinish2 жыл бұрын
It's not too bad actually. Just time consuming.

Thank you for posting. What speed were you using for the sander and die grinder?
@AwesomeFinish2 жыл бұрын
This sander spins at around 4k RPM, and the die grinder goes up to 20k RPM. Thanks for watching!

I am trying to polish some parts now and seems like I can't get all the scratches out. I was using a DA sander up to 600 grit. So you recommend a straight orbital over a DA?
@AwesomeFinish4 ай бұрын
I recommend a straight sander which is different than an orbital.

Where to buy the tapered cone and mandrel? Thanks

So you only sand with 320 and then go to the compound? Also do you prefer the straight sander with DA pad over a DA sander?
@AwesomeFinish Жыл бұрын
Yes, I go to polishing after 320. DA if you need to smooth radiuses, straight sand if it's flat.

When using the wheel, did you use any type of compound, or just straight? Thanks

How many hours did this take?
@AwesomeFinish2 жыл бұрын
Somewhere around 4-5 hours. For someone who is new to polishing it could take 10+ hours.

What's the cost of 5hr job run someone looking for this service?
@AwesomeFinish2 жыл бұрын
I charge 500 to do a procharger head unit. Vortech and paxton are more time consuming so they are 600.
