It looks extremely cool in a shaved engine bay. My friend has an extremely clean civic with a polished turbo. That engine bay is heavenly

I’m assuming you add the white diamond right before you take it to the buffing wheel?
@AwesomeFinish4 ай бұрын
@@MeG4tRoNx not at all. White Diamond is hand applied after the part is washed. It's a final step. The video shows me using white rouge compound on the buffing wheel.

Start and finish with 320 grit? Tight areas use 220 grit?

120 and 220 cartridge roll. 320 DA. 320 wrapped and taped to a 220 cartridge roll to finish small areas.

Very well done sir, very impressive. I'm here in Orange Park Florida and I'm fixing to do my intercooler pipe on my Ford 6.7L diesel engine and I have just one question, why use WD-40 instead of water when sanding? I gave your video a gigantic thumbs👍 up, great work friend.
@AwesomeFinish3 жыл бұрын
Hello and thanks! I use wd becasue water would evaporate instantly due to the hot metal. Also the wd is a much better lubricant.

What type of buffer did you use? The link looks like a hand held and not a benchtop type.
@AwesomeFinish3 жыл бұрын
I updated it in the description. Didn't realize I was linking to the handheld machine. The benchtop machine is a little expensive but what you want when doing this is horsepower and reliability so a good, strong machine is going to cost a little more than harbor freight!
