@toneandtighten particularly the one crossing your knee over and pushing down. I do lots of hip and glute stretches but that one just hits the exact spot. Thanks

Hello. I am in the process of losing weight to get 2 hip replacements. I have undescribable pain on both sides of the SI joint when standing or walking. Is it ok to do these exercises to alleviate pain?

Hi, @pattygravs6354! It should be okay to try these out, but I would be curious to see exactly where your pain is coming from and to know exactly why you're requiring the replacement surgeries. If your pain is from your SI joint, these should help it to feel better. If your pain is referring from your hip joint, these won't make any difference. You might search on KZbin for "Tone and Tighten Lateral Hip Pain" for another great video to try. I hope these things help you, and thanks for commenting!

Valid point, @dontuttle. First step is putting the SI joint into the proper position - i.e. the primary focus of this video. Next step is to strengthen and stabilize the instability so that it doesn't happen again... which is the primary focus of every video I have linked in this one. It would have been too long a video to cover all of it, thus I broke it up into component parts.
