Great tips man. I’ve been trying to get into model/ portrait photography for a while coming from a background in street photography. I’ve never quite understood how to pose the model however. So this could work great for future shoots.

Probabely because of two reasons: Wrong light - both appear in very low contrast caused by the sun behind. And the wonderful Diana doesn't feel very comfortable this time. (sorry to say). Apart from that, very helpful for the beginner indeed.

1. Shoot her favored side of the face 2. Put the weight on the back leg (the one that is farther from the camera) 3. Fix her posture 4. If you plan to crop the image just above the knees make sure they are making a merging line (just like a letter V) 5. Create negative space (the space between her arms and body) 6. When looking at the side make sure her nose is facing the direction she is looking at. Otherwise her eyes are going to be too white. 7. When putting hands on the face don't cover the jawline with hands 8. Make her hands soft (relaxed). Tell her to do something with her hands she does naturally so the hand looks relaxed. Instead of telling her to put grab her hair, tell her to go through hair with her hand and stop her where you want to 9. Build poses. Start form the most basic pose and develop it. 10. Give a lot of positive feedback!!!!!!

Manning I watch a lot of your KZbin videos ! I seen a video where you have shot with the Fuji XT3 camera . I was just wondering would you do a video with a Cannon mounted Sigma Art 1.2 105mm and Sigma 1.8 130mm lenses with the Fringer Pro lens adapter ! This combo mated it to the Fuji XT3 or XT4 ! Full manual focus as well as auto focus . Showing the pros and cons with this set up ! Thank you ! ...Curtis in Texas
