Hinduism is a ‘way of life’. It is a faith, a civilization without dogma. It is unique in its own way. The greatness of Hinduism lies in the fact that it is the only major religion in the world that does not claim to be the only true religion.

Hinduism You can be theistic and a hindu Atheist and a hindu Worship a idol , still you can be hindu . Do not believe in idol worship , you are still welcomed . Believe in multiple god , you can be hindu Or a one god , still you can be hindu . You want to go to temple to pray , thats fine you are in bhakti , make a worship through meditation, no one will have guts to say , you are not hindu.

Correction : They are not idols .. Hindu dietes are immersed with Prana Pratishta by Divine Sanskrit Mantras and temple were built on divine geometry and Math ..It is higher dimensional and Mantra enforces energy.. All ancient hindu temple Built upon proper Vastu which emits Divine energy .. Some idiots(invaders to India of different religions) do not understand this and called it a idol..They don't know even a basics of Hinduism and this Universe..This planet and science will take another 100yrs to understand hinduism properly .. This Universe is built by PRANA and hindu deites(so called idols) are immersed with Prana.. Atheism do not accepted in Hinduism or by any texts of hinduism ..It is a Communists propaganda..Hinduism accepts seekers of truth and seekers are not Atheists ..

shriram hegde Many agnostics have well thought out beliefs that dont coincide with one religion, hence not following any religion, but still believing in a higher power. Not clinging to a set of ancient ideas, and instead objectively viewing different philosophies is far from underdeveloped.

Great Explanation Koi! Hinduism is a process of self-discovery, of realizing and finding your own divinity and reconnecting with the Omnipotent Brahman. It also emphasizes that we must not take things at face value as told by someone. and if someone has had contact with the omnipotent, then we must have that contact ourselves and make that discovery.

So many outward influences and many doubts from others. It's good to be reminded of the core beliefs. I been falling too far into the ego of needing acceptance of others on my beliefs.

Truly inspiring. I was just born in a Hindu family but my mother was a little religious, my father just worshipped once a year on "Diwali" (The festival of lights), so I never cared either about any religion. But as now I'm older & Hopefully wiser, I started to study religions & to my surprise "Hinduism" sounds the most logical & reasonable as its such a liberated philosophy & boundless to once own way of seeking. Hinduism doesn't ask you to just have faith without reason, it asks & tells you how to seek the universal truth. So thnx bro for this great video & I'll watch rest & in future wait for more . i was brought up as an atheist with little to no spiritual knowledge being passed onto me. i have had some traumatizing experiences and had to do my own investigation into the different faiths, religions and physiography's.i have since become very spiritually receptive to the ethereal world which makes me want to learn more about it. i have found that your videos have been extremely helpful because i love conversation but cant stand the written word or text from books. i believe the message is often misconstrued and then misunderstood, which makes them then becomes pointless. your explanations are brilliant and have definitely inspired me to learn more about and embrace Hinduism. And i think your right i definitely need to find a teacher but i have no idea where to start looking? oh well for now i will settle for you, Infinite Waters, Sadhguru, and Alan watts Much respect Koi 🙏🏼 keep up the great and inspiring work!

I liked this video because I've been searching and experimenting with different aspects of the mind, soul, and body. I've recently started practicing vipassana meditation in the mornings as a sort of mind clearing, pure way of waking up. Through doing this, I've wanted to dive a little deeper. Test the waters, if you will. While I consider myself an atheist, having left the Christian church years ago, I will go into this practice with an open mind :)

Although vippasana was originally a very effective way to do maditation but recently ( around 80s ) things changed. Other things are good but you MUST KNOW that in meditation your mind HAVE TO CONCENTRATE ON NOTHINGNESS not to any GURU / GOD / DIETY. NOTHINGNESS is for the CREATOR / BRAHMAN but nowdays PPL are telling others to meditate while concentrate on THEIR GURU / god . This can be couse of a great Hypnotize . So pls beaware

A part of the Infinite/ Supreme is in every living being ( Jiva Atma ) known as Paramatma thats why we bow down to everyone with a Namaskar as we bow down to the supreme inside you. Imagine a drop of water from an ocean it has the same salty taste which engulfs the entire ocean, the closer you are to your true self the least you are "attached" to the world of maya ( materialism), detachment is not that you own nothing but it is that nothing owns you

@Stomper902 Nope, all three versions of Buddhism came after Hinduism.
@SBha30
@SBha30 5 жыл бұрын
@Stomper902 Adi Shankara documented knowledge from the Upanishads. Most of the Upanishads existed long before Siddhartha Gautama was born. I used to follow Buddhist philosophy but switched to Hinduism (Advaita Vedic) philosophy because it is a lot more clear in areas such as the ego, the illusion of man and non-dualism. I still meditate with a group at a Theravada Buddhist monastery and donate money there. By the way, using words like "stole" violates the main precepts of Buddhism. Also bantering back and forth about trying to be proven right is just satisfying the needs of the ego. If Buddhism works for you and will help you achieve the path of enlightenment, then go for it. It just left a lot of unanswered questions for me.
@SubhamKumar-is9si
@SubhamKumar-is9si 3 жыл бұрын
@Stomper902 buddha himself was son of a hindu. Total Buddhism is stolen from hinduism. Hinduism is father and Buddhism is son. There was nothing called Buddhism during buddha time. Some greedy people stole the philosophy of hinduism and made an another religion called Buddhism. Making random claim without any proof will not prove your statement. Vedas and Upanishads were written way before the birth of buddha. And Advaita Vedanta philosophy was taken from Upanishads by adi Shankaracharya. And don't dare to abuse adi Shankaracharya. He was the greatest scholar of hinduism. Namaskar 🙏🙏.
@SubhamKumar-is9si
@SubhamKumar-is9si 3 жыл бұрын
@Stomper902 lol. repeating the same thing will not help you to prove your statement. First read Upanishads properly. Advaita Vedanta is based on Upanishads. And Upanishads were written long before birth of buddha. So buddhism is totally copied from Hinduism. And concept of ahimsha was taken from bhagwat geeta and Mahabharat was taken place long long before birth of Buddha and mahavir jain. Buddha himself was son of a hindu. So don't try to spread false propaganda.
@SubhamKumar-is9si
@SubhamKumar-is9si 3 жыл бұрын
@Stomper902 lol. You just want to satisfy your ego by making baseless statement without proof. Bhagwat Geeta is teaching of krishna to Arjuna which was given on the battlefield of kurukshetra in Mahabharata. And Mahabharat was taken place long long before birth of Buddha. So how can teaching of krishna be stolen from buddhism? Are you mad? And Advaita Vedanta philosophy is totally based on teaching of Upanishad. And Upanishads were written long long before birth of Buddha. So how can concept of Upanishads and Advaita Vedanta be stolen from buddhism? So either you are mad or you are just trying to satisfy your ago by making baseless statements without any proof. I have given you all the proof, go and search. And Lord shiva is also called adi-Yogi. Lord Shiva is lord of yoga. Yoga philosophy was already present in puranas. And puranas are also much much older than buddhism.

these 4 paths are not distinct - but isto be applied at different aspects of our own personality. Gyana Yoga at the intellectual level. Bhakti Yoga at the emotional/mental level. Karma Yoga at the physical level. Raja Yoga is an advanced stage of Hatha Yoga, where they incorporate practices for all the above mentioned aspects along with physical exercise which is also very important in Spiritual Progress. Concentrating on a single path or practice is prescribed for early students whose mind/intellect are not prepared for contemplation/meditation. A student who considers serious life of contemplation must take every aspect of his personality into account. Meditation is only complete when the emotional aspect (mind) and the rational thinking (intellect) works harmoniously as an integrated whole. Even though we associate contemplation/meditation only to Gyana Yoga. Bhakti Yogis essentially do the same thing - which is unbroken total identification with the Supreme Self. It would be helpful to have a very deep and clear understanding of what Bhakti and Gyana Yoga is before stepping into sadhana, therefore I suggest you study 'Narada Bhakti Sutras' and 'Mandukya Upanishad' - or, an easy way is to study Bhagavad Gita, which is an integrated and systematic thought development program.

just think about what you actually want in life. what are you pursuing? I find that no religion or "practise" really aligns with my personal goal. if you are seeking real enlightenment you have to let go of all the dogma. it is nice to pick some useful methods here and there and I am not saying that all these teaching are necessarily wrong they contain a lot of truth actually. but for enlightenment you have to let go of all that stuff. but you can become enlightened as buddhist, as hindu, as christian or whatever. true enlightened people actually realise they do not need all these labels. whatever...who am I to speak? :D good luck with achieving your goals bud.
