I like how you mentioned tightening your trucks to do manual tricks. Most manual tips you find tell you looser trucks are better for manuals, and I can see the argument from both sides.

Yee just depends. But I’ve noticed the more tech manual and rail skaters I know skate tight trucks compared to my curb homies

Some really good tips in here. Thanks for the video. I've been doing manuals for a bit now and I love them. I want to get more tricks out of manuals. Surprisingly, nose mani nollie shuv (or nollie front shuv) out are my only go tos. I've been working on bs 180 out of regular manual for a while but I'm not there yet. Another video about doing tricks out of manuals would be amazing.

This helps so much, thanks! Would've loved to get some tips on how to pop out of a nose manual, especially since I'm still practicing at slower speeds.

Glad it helped! And for practicing the nose manual off: try rolling off the manual pad with a rolling nollie motion a few times to clear the back wheels

Make sure the top isn't overly waxed if youre practicing mannies from the side.

Where do you put your feet and how much weight do you apply to the front foot when nose manualing? I can do regular manuals, not great but a little distance. Can’t even get a nose manual for a second though and not sure what I’ve doing wrong…

I’ve found nose manuals came a bit easier naturally when I started riding and practicing up to Ollie’s switch
@SoapworthyProductions4 ай бұрын
@@Loyalhusband thanks for the tip! I can Fakie Ollie but can’t nollie or switch ollie. I’m old but never got deep into skating. I’ll have to start trying switch Ollie’s! So far only switch trick I’ve landed is a switch shove.

I always struggle to ollie into the manual position, my feet are like an drunken octopus lol

Just some practice over a crack should help those octopus legs ahha

Cranking down trucks means the responsive turn doesn’t spoil the nosemannys that easily, yes, I agree. Then why not move on to Ventures to avoid that responsive turn even when trucks are loose? That’s what happened to me. Tensor alloys work good in this sense too.

I have landed 1 kickflip nose Manuel. I usually land too hard like I’m trying to nosegrind.

been skating since 2007, still can't nose manual lol, my body always wants to fall forward or fall backwards. if i had a tony hawk balance meter irl you'd see it only going back and forth lol
@spencernuzzi4 ай бұрын
Oh da forever balance meter tho!! Haha that would be chill! Also try looking forward when ur in ur nose wheelie. I feel if ur looking down u go down lol
