HOW TO PRACTICE SPEAKING ENGLISH ON YOUR OWN

I'm gonna talk about my experience of practicing English with myself. I did the speaking part in different ways, one of them is in front of a mirror talking about different things, like, expressing my opinion for something/ someone. Other times, I record a video discussing issues in my life and where I'd like to be... Having an imaginary interview with one of famous TV show. So s/he asked me and I give my answer out loud, all of them help me to develop my skills. I could say that I'm practicing English everyday and everywhere using these techniques. Besides to writing, reading and listening. I have 3 notebooks by now writing everything down whether it comes from movies or a series or daily routine. All you need is a motive to improve your second language. They all work.. Thank you for the tips.

Hi Wes! I've been a teacher for 30 years (yeah, that's a LONG time!!). I advise muy students to imagine they're interpreters AND they're doing simultaneous interpretation (never translation!!) and let me tell you it's worked very well! I agree! I used to read out loud a lot but stopped. Now, because of your video, I am going to resume my old habit. I did this because I learned very little at state schools and wanted to become more articulate. This is an exercise that needs, for me anyway, to be a regular thing. Another great video! I say you have to take your raincoat because look outside, it began to rain the cats and dog and --HOW CAN YOU DESCRIBE THESE THINK? It's a Stainless Cup for coffee. It's practice because the coffee stays hot. and OUT LOUD is very important because when we just read and write ..it's good for sure but when we speak,..we were every time stopped because we usually write every time and I have nobody for practice.

I am going to take Opic test next month and this video helped me practice responding the questions “beforehand”. My responses to your questions were these I went to Seoul yesterday because I needed to get an injection to my back.
