How to Pray Salah as a New Muslim | RevertMuslimah |

Assalamualaikum warathmatullahi Wabarakatuhu dear sisters! Thank you all for watching my videos! Please have mercy on my pronunciations ( I’m still learning Islamic terms ). I tried to break down some terms for new reverts. Jazakallah khair!
Terms:
Subhanallah: Glory to Allah. Mostly used as Oh wow or how amazing
Salah: Formal prayers
Rakats: One unit of prayer cycle
Wudu: Purification before prayer
Ghusl: Purification after menses and sexual relations
Dikr: Remeberance of Allah

Please go to your local mosque to ask a scholar any questions
I know that people have different opinions on whether it is allowed to pray in Englsih while learning the Arabic
How to Learn How to Pray
We pray 5 times a day
- Fajr : Before sunrise : 2 rakats
- Duhr : Mid-day : 4 rakats
- Asr: Afternoon: 4 rakats
- Maghrib: Sunset : 3 rakats
- Isha: Night : 4 rakats
Before you pray: MAKE WUDU
Steps of Wudu

1. Make intention in your heart " I inted to pray (fajr)
2. Say Bismillah ( Not in the bathroom )
3. Wash your hands 3 tims starting with right hand
4. Rinse mouth three times
5. Rinse nostrils three times
6. Wash face three times
7. Wash arms three times start with right arm
8. Wipe your head once
9. Wipe neck and back of the ears oce
10. Wash feet starting with right foot with your left hand
11. Say your shadaha
I testify that threre is no God except Allah and that Muhammad is his slave and messenger
La ilaha illa Allah Muhammad Rasulu Allah

Salah and Wudu should be performed according to the Quran. Wudu 5:6 and 4:43 The first word to come down is Iqra/Read. Also means to recite, study, learn. The Qalam/Pen is also w ruined in that Sura. A’laq #96. Salah, look for Qiyam/Ruku/Sajda verses. Use Quran corpus to help you. The Quran is the only Book of Guidance A’LLah tells us we need. 2:2 6:38 6:114 Shahada is only for A’LLah. That is how you find it in the Quran. Worship the Creator not His Creation. A’LLah will manage your affair , be patient and rely only on your Creator. Our Prophet’s main duty was to deliver the revelations and message and to warn not to associate any partner with Him. Salaam

😂...I just did my morning prayers and took off my Piercing. I got exactly the same one. But it Looks so beautiful on you sister! I love your glasses..i need new ones 😊 I am so happy to see African Muslims and the way we pray is a little different to what Asian Muslims do. It is. Sister when you wash your arms you wash it from the tip of fingers to your elbows , make sure you wash the whole arms with the hand . And to wash your face you can wash with your both hands , and Allah knows best .
