My pleasure! Same thing happened to me my first go around, but this year planting them late fall gave me a beautiful show in March that lasted quite a while! Hope you have for success next year! Depending on your zone just make sure you fall plant instead of spring. Only lower zones with really cool temps in May benefit from late planting ! 😊

Thank you very much for sharing 🌱🌸👍🏼 My ranunculus grow very nicely until I put them into the garden because of the snails 🐌 I think this year I'm going to leave them in pots. Greetings Heidi 👩‍🌾 I'm your new subscriber and I'm wishing you all the best for 2024 🎊🎉💕

Welcome, so glad to have you here ! Thankfully I don’t really struggle a lot with snail problems (hope I didn’t just jinx myself lol). I hope leaving them in pots will give you success & a beautiful show this year. Mines are currently covered due to low temps and expected snow here the next 2 days. ♥️

Awesome, I hope the video was helpful ! Mines are looking well in the ground. Nice and strong. We are expecting pretty low temps this upcoming week so I’ll have to cover them but I absolutely hope you have success growing them !!!

I’m attempting to pre-sprout now. It’s been 5 days and I haven’t received any growth out of 40 😅

Don’t worry, sometimes they just take a little longer! Sometimes mines sprout fast and other times slow. Just make sure you’re keeping them moist not allowing them to completely dry out and keeping them around 50-60 degrees (that’s the temp that works best for me in zone 8b) Mines are actually in full bloom now. I can’t wait to share the video I’m working on now. Waiting for them all to bloom and then I’ll update you all ! ♥️

What is a corm !!!!????
@TheGardeningSisters
@TheGardeningSisters 7 ай бұрын
They are similar to tubers and bulbs, basically they are a food and energy store for plants that are perennials. They go dormant at a certain period. Like other bulbs & tubers we allow the plant to fully die back to focus its energy back down into the corm so that it will come back the next year ! Elephant ears also have corms. 😊
