I just got a two trees 55 to week with and I mostly work on Photoshop. I do need to convert over to Corel Engrave... your post is good.

When I try to switch from grayscale to RGB and then indexed, it doesn't give me the option on the bottom to choose dither or anything. that option is grayed out so i can't use it. I can only pick the matte.

How are you able to get your laser to have various styles of shades ...i cant only get mine to go 1 maybe 2 shades and my black areas arent even black..obviously im missing something🤔

hi, try using your laser and a very low power, then higher it every 2 min or so to see what kind of shading you get.👍

Hello, yes this can be achieved just using photoshop to prepare the file, corel laser is only used to send the file to the laser engraver. Hope this helps

hi, you can go into image, mode, indexed color then in platte make a custom 1 and pick just black and white. hope this helps

hmmmm, make sure you go from fray scale to rgb, then diff, you may get no change if not done it this order, anslo make sure it is no to low of a res, try to zoom in after changes and see if you see the dots

thank you, i appricate it:) and im here if you need any help., i use the software that came with it which is corellaser and it needs coreldraw for it to work, if you have coreldraw already you might want to start with that and see how you like it, and if you dont k40 whisper will be good for the same results.

hello, thank you for your comment, your best bet would to start with the same one i have now and i am very heappy with, its called the "k 40" is a great laser to start off with and for everyday use. i have had no problems with it and can do jsut about what the glowforge can do with out breaking your pocket, if you ever need any help feel free to ask 👍
