The war of attrition video especially during intersession life is about showing up and because it’s camp season. And how to maximize your time there. Using a notebook and writing down. Reinforcing the lesson of showing up as a coach and wrestler understanding to the be the last man standing. It’s not the strongest faster or talented wrestler who wins it’s the one who rides the highs and lows and sees things until the end. “Hey Guys Coach Coco here, are you send your wrestlers to a camp or clinic this summer? Today we’re going to talk about a powerful concept I call the war of attrition. This means being the last man standing for the entirety of the camp or clinic. This helps show the wrestler the direct correlation between attendance and success: seeing things through until the end gives the athlete the most possible chance of success. There’s a lot of factors outside of our control in wrestling but the one thing we can do is to show up day in and day out. And you’ll notice the wrestlers who do coincidental improve the most and get better as the season goes on. Coaches parents and athletics can reminds themselves their athletes and teammates how seeing things thru until the end is the most ultimate success.”
