Since you have time I would suggest improving your grammar and vocabulary. You can read Cambridge IELTS grammar and Cambridge IELTS vocabulary; also start giving model tests now and identify your weak points and try to improve them.

For settlement, I have heard that Finland is a good option. But I am not confirmed about this information. in the Netherlands after graduation you can get one year of job search visa, if you get a job then you can apply for settlement in future.

To improve sentence making and grammar, please read the passages in reading sections and model answers of writing sections very minutely (reading English books, passages, and contents online also helps). Also have a notebook, where you write some of the sentences you think you can use in your writings later in IELTS. for vocabulary; you will get list of vocabularies important for IELTS. for example; ( ieltsliz.com/vocabulary/ ) check this link. you can also buy Cambridge grammar and Cambridge Vocabulary for IELTS books if you have the time and can find them.
