Hey, I auditioned for the online ador audition but I'm not sure if they ever saw my video bcz there was written that they only supported video formats like PDF or video. Do they mean by video the MP4 format? I thought PDF is only for pictures or documents. I'm very confused with the formats 😭

PDF is portable document format which is where you can save files that cannot be modified which is for pictures and documents like WORD,EXCEL, etc. MP4 format is digital multimedia where you can store media like video and audio. So I’m pretty sure they wanted it in a mp4 format because it’s for videos. Hope this helps and good luck on your audition 😊❤️✨

They will already have your name, age, and where your from. I would personally not restate anything they already know by looking at the form. Many people will say “Hi, my name is __, I’m __years old, and I’m auditioning with ___” But they already know all of that. If you restate anything, it’s your name. Say your experiences or other languages you speak. For example “I did ballet for 3 years, and hip hop for 2. I’m also fluent in Spanish”. These should be brief and relevant, unlike this.

It depends what country you live in! They have already held their auditions in Korea, Japan, Australia and now the USA. If you live in the USA you might want to apply now, as it closes soon! If you don't live in any of these countries then I doubt you can apply unless they do another continent/ country.

i'd say use a different song cause you want to showase a new side of you to the judges since you're trying to make them want you as a trainee i feel it'd be great to use different songs to show your versatility whether it be dance, vocal & or rap it lets them see a new side of you. Like lexi from vcha when she did gods menu to showcase her hiphop style of dance rather than choosing a song to show off her ballet routes

I’ve learned to not let any opportunity pass. It never hurts to try, if you pass, you pass. You don’t have to continue to the next round, but you could. I feel like 18 is a bit risky, most idols I’ve seen had trained between 2 to 5 years, as well as a 7 year contract. You rarely see idols debut over 25. You’ll be able to but you will get barely any chances (to audition) after 18. Im not saying you have to be ready now, but the best range for auditioning is probably 13-16. If you’re ready, test your talent.

And preparing for yg auditions is pretty much the same as any other audition. They have a hip hop vibe, they seem to like when people are calm and confident. An audition is a performance, treat it that way, make the “stage” yours. Show how you’re an asset to the company and how you bring new talent. Show them that you fit this role/position, show them idol material.

My advice is prepare something that fits you no matter if it fits the company or not. Companies want new talent, and it’s harder to show that if you’re not showing you. Improve on things you might’ve not done well in the first round. I know it’s basic advice, but I think it’s helpful.

It depends if your from a far country like the UK or America then they’ll most likely pay for your flight home bc it is expensive and if your a minor too. If you live near like Japan or Singapore then they might not 😢

I don’t understand what they meant by prepare one verse approximately 2 minutes long.Am I suppose to sing while I’m dancing for two minutes or after I dance

Here too help. Do what u feel comfortable as long as you showcase a song or dance that is 2 minutes long you’ll be fine. Yes you can sing and dance at the same time it will prove that you can sing live whilst dancing. i lowkey feel like source music pre - registration felt like a first round for some of us cause they did request material from us (photos of our face & a clear picture for them to determine what our proportions look like as well as a video showcasing our talent) and since all that may have contributed to why some of us received an email that's why i consider it a first round.
