Its a shame we have to do a hearing ssdi says if you have a medical condition that keeps you out of work for 1Yr you are eligible. Its our money we earned it

Nice overview of the hearing process. Good point about when a witness makes sense - since these hearings only last 45 minutes to an hour, I rarely use them but as you point out there are certain circumstances when a claimant is not the best source of testimony.

The reason I m applying for the disability is because I'm unable to walk on my own need a walker to use when am walking so I don't fall down again lol I did and injured my head and my upper lip broke a vessel

I dont understand the very last part. If you receive work comp benefit it needs to be written off in a paragraph. What does this mean?

I was given a fully favorable decision,I Won my Disability case ,But I didn't recieve any back benefits ,my original AOD was changed by an ALJ instead of Nov.2019 it was changed to Nov.2021 can't understand why the ALJ decided this,so I agreed to that later date, never was advised by my representative why this change came about , also I was given concurrent My ssi benefits started in Apr 2022 and ended May,2022 which came at the end of April for May now that's ended .My Disability benefits I haven't started Recieving yet. I have many questions with no real answer .confused.

I do know, The judge can move your onset date but your attorney should of told you what that means, it means partially favor you'll be approved but you'll get no back pay.. If you agreed.. Otherwise you would of been denied at the hearing

I did not go to hearing they don't do that anymore.in Gastonia NC-charlotte.i didn't need a lawyer I went throw alsups. disability company .takes 1-year ss ask questions on the phone bipolar paranoid could not go outside scared they called 2 people about me ask my job boss. and mother. anxiety got to get school records I failed a d disorder
