Im a man, i prepare this for my family to eat as break fast in lagos as we hardly see people selling it around my area and they like it especially my two years old daughter. it saves me alot of money than buying N1400 bread every morning. The challenge i have is adding water, i like it hard but my family like it soft but ur explanation on how to know the water is enough has solved my problem. Thanks

Thank you for being very detailed, especially stating why it should be put into boiling water, now I know why I was having issues with mine.

After watching other videos, ive been looking for who made okpa locally not the ones that are using spoon or spatula to mix okpa. this is legit and the real deal, im from enugu and thank you for showing my friend that okpa is sweeter when mixed with hands. But next time shaa use banana leaves or alluminiun plates there are healthier and nicer.

Madam's that are complaining about her using her hands that's the proper way to mix it if you want to get what you want the only time the spoon or whatever is needed is when the okpa is much

hi, okpa turns soft on top and hard at the bottom after cooking what could be the reason ? i feel i dint turn it enough can i use blender to turn okpa?
@winniechinedu Жыл бұрын
You tried your best. That can happen only 1. When the water is too much during mixing. 2. If the water didn't boil before you put it in the pot. 3. If you tied it and kept it for a while before you put it in the pot. If it so, shake it very well before you put it in the pot. Don't be discouraged next one will be good.

@stellanduscreation2585 Жыл бұрын
It's a lie. Uziza changes that real taste of Okpa. Fresh pepper is enough

Why are you using ur hands instead of a turner or spoon? You should be using spoon since everyone is watching.
@winniechinedu2 жыл бұрын
My dear, you cannot use spoon to turn okpa. Okpa is as elastic as baking flour. Just practice it and you will understand it more. Thank you so much.
