Hey Brent, this is a long shot on such an old video, but I just assembled a stock b20vtec engine with a 70mm TB and ported S2 manifold Gapped my plugs to .017 like you suggested. I’m reading all over online .032-.044 is what people set their stock builds too. Is the suggestion of .017 for all build types ? Boosted and NA stock? Thanks. Love the channel.
@PFIBrent5 жыл бұрын
You can open the gap for More burn . . High compression or a lot of boost just requires a tight gap to make it light cleanley. In theory the wider fire can make more power but at the risk of a cylinder drop . Which doesn’t help you win. 🤙🏽

So what do you think about this? My homeboy went to a tuner and they charged him for the tune ($400). The tuner was 1hr late to an appointment he set, complained that it was his day off and took 2hrs to put in injectors, but my boy didn't even get a tune because his injectors didn't work. The tuner said his next tune would be free, but do you still think this is right? I feel like you shouldn't have to pay for a tune until you actually do some dyno passes atleast.
@rav4l20036 жыл бұрын
I feel that when you "pay for a tune", what you are really paying for is the tuner's time. It's not the tuner's problem that your friends injectors didn't work. He bought the time from the tuner to attempt to tune the car as it was brought to him (and install injectors in this case). To avoid this, have your injectors checked before dyno day. Its awesome he's offering to set aside more time to tune it up for free. In my opinion, he don't have to do that, but most tuners are cool like that.
@Cekmore6 жыл бұрын
400 for the tune or 400 for an hour... time =. Cause they aren't ready for tune...

T3 t4 turbo.. allot of other little things Was wanting to bring my 2g eclipse with 4g63 to you guys but you would either answer and hang up or not answer my emails. So it's parked.
