I don’t recommend rjwc airbox lids , every machine I have tested with one has leaked so we basically had to add a lot of grease to stop any leaks . Big thing with snorkel is definitely you definitely want to smoke test them , want to keep it around only 2-3 psi so you don’t chance damage or crack anything .

Great video guys I am Australia and have a 2013 G2 650xt and it’s time to do a belt change and I would like a clutch up grade and would love if the is anything to get it to run a bit cooler as it roasts my legs the engine heat is insane. Any suggestions 👍

Perfect video guys. I'm already ordered snorkel kit and rad relocate kit. Now I will do airbox gasket and some other things. Next step will be different primary clutch and ECU tune. Not sure If I should buy dynojet and flash it myself. What do think? I have 850 outty max XT-P. Turning into XMR little bit. 🤩

We like flashes cause there is no connection to worry about in the water. Just our personal opinion.

Stock 570 come with 25 inch tire 27 inch upgrade. Would that require clutching??
@LetDirtFly7 ай бұрын
You should be fine with 27s, but with a 570 we recommend a cvtech to get the most out of the machine. They come very detuned from the factory. With a properly tuned cvtech, you’ll be beating up on stock 650s.

I just got a 2017 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 4x4 that i want to turn mostly into a mud racing/some trail machine

Our one subscriber Chris built a mean Brute Force. Those things are awesome because they’re light for what they are. He showed us up on that thing. I’ll attempt to share the video in this comment. If it doesn’t work, the video is called Can a Can am outlander survive Skeg. Can’t wait to see what you build🤘🏼 kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKO6o2eunpaZopIsi=M7XH3IiXVwrT4kfr

Do yall know if all the current XMRs actually come with a gear reduction or different clutching and better axles compared to XT . I was looking at the outlander XMR 850 and Renegade 650.. if they don’t come with a gear reduction, I think I may consider getting a XT 1000r and do my own build so I can have the short chassis 1000.
@LetDirtFly7 ай бұрын
I believe just the 570-650 xmr have the gear reduction. I know for a fact the 850 and 1000 do not. It’s only in low range on the 570-650
@LetDirtFly7 ай бұрын
Also, I believe if you do get a short frame 1000 you don’t get the beefy rear differential that comes in the XMRs. The axles are all standard now. I believe in 2018 they came with gorilla axles but can-am sadly is trying to make the quads cheaper while making them cost more

@@LetDirtFly so they just throw 30inch tires on their with no adjustments ? I’m not assuming it can’t handle it . But you would think they would change the primary spring or something .

Clutching doesn’t gain any crank hp it just put more power to the ground.

Come on change diff fluid every 3rd ride? So if I ride 30 mins hit some water 3 times ?
@LetDirtFly Жыл бұрын
If you ride with the diffs and everything submerged I would check or change the the fluids every few rides. We’ve found water after one ride with a Polaris. It’s better to be safe then have a blown up diff or another part.

@@LetDirtFly I get it I feel like every water moment is a maintenance moment . I dont get the same same amount of throttle time and A LOT less Mud lol. I’ve got 1300 k m on a 2020 650 xmr and I have changed fluids 3 times Skid plates! Alum ones I ride northern Ontario I think that is a big must have here. It’s the first thing I add to my atvs

@SimplyOffRoad11 ай бұрын
@Chris-no8qi you are what we call lucky. Here in the states. You can get store brand 5qt jug of diff fluid. Runs about $30. That's enough fluid to change fluid in both diffs 2x a month all year.
