This video was fantastic, so inspiring. I would love to be a game producer. I just saw a talk from Helen from creative assembly for students wanting to break into the game industry and between the two of you I have stars in my eyes. Creative Assembly looks like an amazing place to work

This is such a wonderful resource! I work as a lab manager in STEM but hobby produce in podcasts and am just starting in games, I’m hoping to work in bio project management in the future and you just set me up with some amazing resources/structure as I approach my PhD AND for hobby game/audio production!!!

From your experience, for each game project, how many weeks/months does It take to hire the full development team? And how does It happen? Does the producete and human resources manager start hiring in planning phase or Pre-production already for production?

Hi - thanks for the question. Hiring for a full development team depends on the size of the project and skills or experienced needed. As the Project plans come together recruitment will work closely with the Production team to make sure we have the right developers at the right points in time. However, as we move through the Production phase, the project's needs may evolve, so we use both planned and responsive hiring strategies for each project.

Brilliant Video, informative, and very interesting, thank you! In my opinion, mind you, equipped with Electronic skills only, the Games derived from the C language (Machine Language.) are it. Detailed and tailored to design. I'm just saying that Assembly languages aren't so good to me at all, the mode leads to something a little better than a SPRITE in its finished design. Anyways, my question is because back in 1958 there were only THREE People in the World who knew math well enough to apply the zero's and ones to formulate the C language., [electronics speaking.] And about 300 People in the World that had learned to manipulate the (11 year Course.) C Language. That's that. Today, One can learn an Assembly language in a few hours, and in 24 hours they can Produce a Game - SPRITE worthy, Ha-ha! Do you have a Clue as to who, or how many People thoroughly can work the C Language today? I'm a Professional Instrumentalist also, scrutinizing this IDEA***** OldGames.com its DOMAIN is up for Sell $25,000. I would buy it if I could find someone like your self who can Assist. I don't know how to manipulate Software. O' as a debbuger I know how to Create, load, Run programs etc, and LANGUAGE to customize my own My Computer files. Again, no the only Software Program that I have worked with is a single Disk, titled 'the Ghost', and only a little bit of examining it, Ha-ha. Take Care and stay Covid 19 Safe [I can fix and Repair just about any Electronic Device. In 1958 I had Built and sold my first Resistor Substitution Box.] Yeal, Oldgames.com is up for Sell.
