2024 Humble opinion. If T2DM then start GLP1 and by what ever means stop sugar, cut carbs, and increase fasting between meals. Treat the cause, too much carbs, not the effect, the insulin resistance.

Seems to me Insulin has far less side effects than Oral Meds. Many of those side effects are quite serious and have an impact on daily life. Like the impact on getting thru the work day sick from side effects. Not all employers are tolerant of people's problems.

Mam , I am from Kashmir , my mom is suffered From type 2 since last 20 years. Her age is 55,since last 17 years , her blood glucose levels were good ,as she was taking Metformin +pioglitazone+ gliclizide,,,but since last 2 year's , her fasting is 150mg and after meal's is 250 ,,,doctor has added insulin 16 units before each two meals ,,,but that's not working ,,,,,plz tell me what to do ,,,🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏,,,as u know the health care here is so underdeveloped ,,,plz provide me with the best possible solution
