Billy, I truly appreciate you taking the time to put this video together for all the guys, like me, that need a lot of help with our technique on house cleaning. I've been dabbling in power washing for a number of years due to some exterior painting and general house repairs in NC. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your honesty and the humble way you explain what you are doing, why you do it that way and the reason it works for you. Awesome video man! Right now I'm using a Mi-T-M 4000 psi and it says 4 gpm, but I'm guessing it's only 3 or 3.5gpm. It works well, usually starts on first pull....but I'm thinking about building a power washer in the near future since I'm pretty good with a wrench and permanently mounting on a trailer similar to your setup. With a CAT pump, used engine and some hardware, I think I can get it done for around $1,000.00 since the pump is going to be at least half that budget. Thanks again for the tips on solution mix and how your equipment works.

10 fish fisher I really don’t want to be insulting to your intelligence but I have to ask you a couple questions just to make sure you have not gone insane. Do you wear a respirator when you take a shower? Do you wear a respirator if you mop your floors? Do you wear a respirator if you happen to go through a drive-through car wash? Do you wear a respirator if you are around a woman with perfume on? Do you wear a respirator if you shampoo your dog? Do you wear a respirator if you pump gas at a gas station? I would really love for you to answer these questions in a written response on here. Then perhaps if it seems like you have not gone insane I would challenge you to a side-by-side Skype video that we go live on KZbin and promote it when we get a Vance that way we will have several thousand views watching it live. We will set a time of a 30 minute debate between you and die and let the comments vote on who wins LOL I think it would be interesting

10 fish fisher is not wrong. You should be having your employees wear PPE. Respirator, gloves, eye protection. Bleach is dangerous, especially so when mixed with other chemicals such as pinesol. You are potentially creating chlorine gas which is very dangerous to the respiratory system. Just saying.

@@TONYTHETlGER Exactly that's what I was saying I own a pressure washing business to. You have to have the proper safety equipment when dealing with chemicals. Breathing in fumes from Bleach can actually burn the inside of your lungs. But instead of using his head he wanted to be a jack ass with his comment.

Hey it's great to hear from you. I think they are referring to the amount of liquid in the bottle versus the amount of sodium hypochlorite concentrated within the solution. In most cases if there is not a percentage of sodium hypochlorite listed on the bottle it should be around five or either 6% by volume

Rick Washek in my opinion I feel that it does assist us in cleaning. The mechanism behind this would be that it keeps the solution wet longer acting as a wetting agent. In addition when cleaning a structure near a very busy highway the structure will be coded with hydrocarbons. Unfortunately the mold, mildew and algae will be under the coat of hydrocarbons. If we spray only SH on the structure it takes much longer for the SH to penetrate the layer of hydrocarbons on the structure to interact with the biological mildew or mold

Depends how strong the bleach is, it's mostly watered down unless a roof cleaning is involved, if you have someone watering down bushes before doing your house, they probably shouldn't be doing your house with a hot mix

You can use any dish soap or washing soap as long as it doesn’t have ammonia in it. I particular Lee like gain . You can also use other soaps such as roof snapped andslo mo

s3 pro in theory, I would recommend doing a bucket test. There are other factors that affect your drawl rate such as hose length, type of wand and other factors such as engine speed and pump settings.

Allen Goldman none of these particular products contain any ammonia You must be thinking about the very old type of Pine-Sol they did contain small traces of ammonia but the new products it has been extracted from during the manufacturing process

Allen Goldman I would recommend always check in the product labels before mixing chemicals but in this case this particular product helps break down some of the mold and mildew in addition to the sodium hypochlorite this is a very common practice in the power washing industry now also with the soft washing industry in addition to shingle cleaning
