Try using warm water to dissolve blue stone first by itself before adding the others. Works for me.

1L warm water .. flat tsp bluestone .. 2 tsps hydrated lime .. OR .. 1flat tsp cgws and blue stone .. seaweed fertilizer.

I sprayed the disease pack, CGWS and Eco oil all mixed together. Trifecta! . lol. The leaf minor came out of nowhere.I think i waited too long between applications. Also was hit by aphids on my eureka lemon and Valencia orange where the leaf minor hit hardest. I can not remember seeing aphids on my citrus before. The ants where working overtime,so also added some vasoline around the bottom of the trunks to stop the ants from harvesting. The battle never ends.

Try the hydrated lime mix with water to a paint consistency leave for an hour. Then brush the trunks of the fruit trees. I've got the sticky stuff but don't use it. I don't have problem with ants anymore. I buy it from Vasili. Great ideas great products.

I sprayed my citrus trees today because of the citrus minor pest. A butterfly wanted to land on the leaves and was repelled by the scent. So my lemon tree and orange tree are safe for now.. but I do want to purchase cgws product for further treatments.

I burn the leaf with the leaf miner insect in the BBQ been going at it for 7 years straight . They keep coming back Florida has a lot of them and I only got like 2 dozen of citrus plants moved my plants to the screen house building individual screen houses around the plants should work they not big plants so I'm doing the screen box around the trees this year

Mix dish soap detergents and water and soak the tree with it.

I make up a few soft drink bottles of Blue Stone mix leave it for a couple of weeks and it dissolved. Warm water didn’t work for me, and it blocked up my sprayer. I hope pre mixing it is ok 🤷‍♀️

Use hot water Barbara. Put your bluestone mix in a cup & "slowly" add just enough hot ( not boiling ) water to dissolve the bluestone whilst stirring the mix until it has all dissolved. Add this mix to your bottle & top up with cold water to the required amount. IE: ( 1 litre, 2 litre etc) Give the bottle a good shake & spray till your heart's content. Just remember to give the bottle a bit of shake now & then to keep the liquid mixed. You will never have a blocked sprayer again. :)

You need cgws for Leaf Miner. The bluestone and hydrated lime mix is to stop rust or other fungal diseases.

Cut the infected growth and bag it up let it die in the sun. Then get a clm trap at least. I havent sprayed and still no miners after 2 weeks. About 30 little blighters in the trap 😉👍
