I wish I could see you so you could take a look at my nails - my fingernails are the opposite of this, they get wider and flatten a little bit when they are long. I hate it! I want them to be the same width as they are at the cuticle. 😔

I have really been wondering about hangnails, because pushing my cuticles back seemed to make them a lot worse. I have very flat nails even at the ends, so it isn't obvious what is going on, but I will try to file the dry skin on the sides to see if that helps.

It’s like you said I use acrylic him but I don’t have your profession so I have tips on so my nails are fairly long but since I started using acrylic I have not had hangnails or any problems with the sides of my nails being pinched I can keep them really short and yeah

I am addicted to your channel. I do not get my nails done , I just keep them filed and shaped. When I was younger I always gave myself manicures and kept my nails polished. My nails have always curled under after reaching a certain length. Do you know what causes this?..

How would you suggest I find a knowledgeable manicurist near me? I have terrible problems with hang nails. They are so bad, that my lateral nail folds are coming away from my nails, which makes the hang nails even worse.

I love acrylic nails but I'm alergic to monomer 😩😭

A LOTTT of nail salons use illegal monomer (monomer containing MMA that is considered poisonous by the FDA) because its cheap. You may be allergic to that. If you walk in a salon and the spell is piercingly strong (almost always unfortunately) they are probably using the illegal stuff. The legal stuff has a much lighter smell and it’s like double or triple the cost. I am a licensed nail tech and that’s how I know about it. What’s scary is that you can buy the illegal stuff at many small business beauty shops.
