Yes, fingernails are much more pliable and have a free edge that will absorb too much water and change shape during the manicure if you soak them. Then the nail polish will chip when the water evaporates and the nail changes shape again. xoxo

Great video as always. Thats exactly what happened to me, I had a really awful and painful SNS removal, and I lost layers off my nails😭 That was nearly 7 months ago and Im still struggling to get them back into shape and health. Needless to say I have not been back to a salon since😔💅🏽 Thank you for all your knowledge passed on to us on both your channels👏🏼

I love my nails short as well. However, I have never used gel nail polish on my nails because I'm afraid it will damage my natural nails. But I am considering using it now and doing it myself. How do you remove the gel polish from your nails?

You need acetone. Soak a cotton pad in acetone apply it over the nail plate and then wrap the nail in kitchen foil. How long you leave it on depends on which brand of gel polish you used in my experience but usually after 10 minutes take it off and have a look, if it's not starting to soften leave it on another 5 minutes and keep checking every 5 minutes after that. Use an orange wood stick to remove it once it softens. Hope this helps.

She cleans the nails with acetone after buffing and clipping the cuticles. The buffing has etched the nails. and the acetone dehydrated them and stripped the oils.

Capping the edge is a waste of time and product. It makes the tips look bulby, rubs off when people rub the tips of their nails on stuff and can make the nails chip.

Too much complaining about a variety of subjects from shoplifters, to people (including your husband) talking about your ideas and inventions.
