Great video. Going through it myself right now. Getting neck radiation and chemo, and have had 25 radiation treatments myself. Got two more weeks left and neck just started peeling and itching bad. Aquaphor is my best friend right now. I hope you are better now, and thanks for the video

I'm using aquphor as well. But the burns that I have is 3 rd degree. I don't want to go the hospital. But my burns seem to be different then anybody else's.

Aquaphor was definitely my best friend too and thankfully my neck has completely healed. How’s your healing going?

@@ritahorne9739 Definitely check with your radiologist but most say it’s normal to get really bad burns

@nancyferrari6743 Hang in there, God has you in his hands. He allows us to go through things to make us stronger and draw us closer to Him 🙏 . I am back to work now. I ended treatment with 3rd degree burns on both sides of my neck. Had to wash it daily with Cetaphil soap, then apply the burn cream they ordered for me, then cover that with xeroform. Kept that up daily, and healing came quickly after that. Used remedy cream after skin was healed. I used boost very high calorie drinks to keep up plenty of nutrition to aid in healing. I know it seems bad, just know good things are to come. Be sure and talk with your docs if you are in doubt of what you should be doing. I called them myself many times.....lol. Don't forget to thank God during this valley experience. I made sure to do that the entire time. I was off work 11 1/2 months all together. By God's grace and mercy I am supporting my family again! Keep your head up, you got this!

Corn starch really helps under the breast during radiation. It also helps keep it dry under the breast to help it heal I swear by it and my radiation dr also approved me to do it❤

Could you please list the names of the products you mentioned? You said they were listed below but I'm sorry, I don't see the list. Everything you mentioned was topical so, for Juven, did you drink it or use it as a poultice? Just asking for clarification. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I'm about to start my journey and am nervous. I appreciate your helpful tips.

Hi there! Here are the list of products 😊 Domeboro - amzn.to/3RX5sSN (used topically to soothe sore skin, you create the mixture with water) Then applied Miaderm on top - amzn.to/3Rz2sfz Followed with this Coola cream - amzn.to/3BuIRaD Lastly sealed with Aquaphor - bit.ly/3xfwYmC And my holy grail product Juven - amzn.to/3B8xWC6 (I drank twice a day) Best of luck on your journey hope you have a speedy recovery and if you need anything else please let me know 🩷

Does juven work over 1 month old burns or do they have to be freshly new? Love your journey ☺️
@WendyAlcala4 ай бұрын
Juven helps to speed up the healing process so if it’s still healing it’ll help 🩷

How does your skin look now? I'm done with my radiation but now I have burns to tend to

My neck has completely healed and looking back to normal. I’d say, depending on your burns, give it about 2-3 months

I have 3 degree burns from Radiation. It's so bad I can't even put on a tee shirt. I'm not sure if this normal. But my doctor assured me that it was. I look like someone who escaped a bad house fire. Any suggestions . Please.

It does sound normal I’d just keep it moisturized with aquaphor and a lidocaine cream to keep it from hurting. Putting the domeboro also helps soothe the area. It will heal after you finish radiation. I’m sending you so much love and healing 🙏🏽
