Love this type of video covering the details of how to avoid a bad position during transitions rather than just focusing on the escape after the fact. Thanks for putting this out for the community.

And in 5 seconds I just learnt the answer to prevent knee slice passes..don’t let their leg be inside. Awesome

Yes!!! This is awesome. - I used to be a running back and never considered using the stiff arm to such a degree in BJJ.

Thanks Professor Tom, this just blew my mind a little as I've never tried any of these other than a basic stiff arm.

Great 👍🏼 stuff. I’ve been focusing on a bunch of escapes, sweeps, & subs from Bottom of Side Control...but truth is I naturally stiff arm and shrimp my hips away to avoid getting caught there. Very helpful guidance & clever choke from Keenan. I’m thinking if you have the far side lapel & opponent moves forward you could catch a loop choke as well?

Hey my brother thanks for that good tip on the over the arm triangle I was having a lot of trouble having some of my guys cause a Ressler I have a big long trunk I guess and a little legs! That absolutely was the missing key and I’ve been doing Jujitsu underneath Professor Pedro Sauer and other Jujitsu awesome instructors for since 1990 A little tip about bringing the knee up to block the head and then right there going over the top of the shoulder for a triangle awesome

@@rikh78 bro i am sorry, it's not a disrespect, but in my country, i live in Caucasus, proffesors are like doctors, engeneers, people connected with science, and people who are in sport or martial art are called coach or trainer...so it wasn't disrespect, u feel me?

I am physically smaller then a lot of the guys in my gym and because of that most of what you show would only work against someone my size or smaller. against anyone bigger then me these ideas are useless for me. when will there ever be a juijitsu video on youtube that shows little guys how to get an advantage on people physically bigger and stronger than them? never that is when. this is all useless for me. I guess the only solution is for me to hit the gym and get bigger myself.
