Yes, this is a very important video, but he did not emphasize enough the link between afib and electrolyte shortfalls that occur frequently in KETO. Here and in most videos he emphasizes that KETO & intermittent fasting are the ultimate elexir for the body. And it is pretty good. But almost everyone I know on KETO gets muscle cramps because the kidneys filter out a lot of electrolytes while the body is in ketosis. The amount of supplements I’m taking under KETO keeps growing. While on KETO I have had lots of muscle cramps. This tells me I am struggling to maintain my electrolytes on KETO. I do use the electrolyte product Dr. Berg sells btw, but if KETO makes it hard to maintain high levels of potassium, sodium and magnesium and other electrolytes. (I am also taking Dr. Bergs crosiferious (spell?) vegetable pills as well as 4 different types of juice plus. (I also do apple cider vinegar, dr. Bergs wheet grass powerder, college/peptides, everday vitamin for over 50, plus 25mg of zinc, _tumeric, magnesium, boron [boron was a Dr. Berg suggestion]). My big point is that lack of electrolytes can cause this, then you need to be careful while on KETO. Yesterday I had an ocular migraine, which I get once or twice a year, but I’m not sure if maybe it wasn’t something similar to what is being described hear. So now I will have to get more electrolytes and I need to look into getting some dha supplements.

I had a TIA 5 years ago. Scared the beck out of me. I didn't smoke, or drink alcohol. But I had high blood pressure since I was 25 years old, that I ignored most of my life. I was 53 when I had it. Thankfully there was zero damage. After that event I completely changed my life style. I was 25 lbs overweight I got that down to 150 lbs where I've been at for the past 5 years now. I bought a home BP monitor and I check and record my BP twice a day. It averages from 100/65 up to 118/75 consistently. I went to a strict plant based diet. I also drink garlic water every other day, ACV every day and hibiscus tea every other day. When the TIA happened they put me on 5 medications. I'm down to one now , 5 mg of lisinipril a day. Im about to come of that in about 3 months. I had no blockages anywhere in my body when they did the cat scan a d MRI. My blood work comes back excellent as far as my total cholesterol and triglycerides are great. I do 30 to 40 minutes of high intensity cardio exercise 5 days a week. I did that even before the TIA, but .y diet and BP, and weight were neglected. I realized it takes a combination of all those areas to be healthy. Today I'm healthier than I ever was. We don't have to have a TIA or stroke. They are completely avoidable by some lifestyle changes. The key is consistency. You also have to give up the drink, s.oking if you smoke, a d the hardest two of all, exercise and getting rid of junk processed foods.

I had a Tia 6 months ago it lasted about 3 weeks of dizziness and double vision. All better now. I went to the eye hospital instead as I thought the problem was my eyes. Didn’t realise it was blood clot on optic nerve. Had MRI 6 months later they put me on baby aspirin for like due to high IGM blood. Cholesterol normal and blood pressure good. On diet of salmon, veg, fruit. Excercise now given up smoking and I have an occasional alcoholic drink and occasional choc ice on Saturday night. Feeling better. Will try intermittent fasting. Can I ever come off aspirin or go down to taking just half a day in the future. I am grateful for my life and the fact I survived. I wish you all well on here to

Tbh he keeps saying keto and IF, but really now, do it for a week and 20 hours a day without eating, you won't crave sugar as much, if at all. What i kinda did and now i don't feel the need for it at all. It's rather interesting how i craved it so badly before, but now i look at candy and fruit and i'm like, meh. I only have a few berries (for ex goji, go for ones really low on glycemic index) or a fruit like a small-medium peach from time to time, not every day and don't really feel the need for more.

When I was 29 years old I had two (what we now know as TIA) in around 18 hours... The hospital couldn't find anything wrong. I was young, fit and healthy. I didn't drink alcohol or smoke, never ate junk food either. I remember around 9/11/2001 i'd had a burning headache prior for 2 weeks. My biggest vice back then was strong freshly brewed black coffee (as it is now). My partner was told to consider making arrangements for a funeral, which she was devastated. I don't know how long I was in hospital for, I know that seeing my GP in the weeks following this who was a wise Indian doctor told me that caffeine in excess blocks neurological pathways in the brain... No official diagnosis of stroke/TIA was made and I continued to have a terrible headache for over 6 months. Over the years it faded or i just for used to it... I never want that ice cold feeling down my left, I couldn't move, i slurred and i couldn't even move my arm. My consciousness felt as though it was closing in and reality was fading away... Please look after yourself everybody... This is why I follow Dr.Berg and KETO as best i can as I'm now 46...

His last TIA was a few months ago, as something caused his Coumadin levels to drop. If I hadn’t remembered that the ER physician said my dad couldn’t have an MRI, my dad wouldn’t have remembered; the PA neurologist wanted to have an MRI, as he said my dad didn’t have a TIA. The PA had no clue patients with artificial valves can’t have MRIs. A CT Scan a few days later, showed my dad had a TIA proving him wrong.

Dr. Berg, please start uploading your videos to Twitter. There, you would share your mass collections of health knowledge to a different types of people. You're so awesome that I want to squeeze 😍 you into my heart ❤. Congratulations and blessings to your parents soul that raised such an outstanding human being in these turmoiled and troubled times. With lots of love 💘 from Mars.

Dr Berg, would you please consider doing a video on Cherry Angiomas?
@graitab.49457 жыл бұрын
Rhonda Ickowski They are growing like mushrooms on my skin! I had a cavernous hemangioma and other multiples and had surgery 10 years ago, but those cherry angiomas keep popping up :(

Hey~ Rhonda also ~and I have lots of those. Watched a lot of videos on using heated head of straight pin.... and videos on using vinegar. I finally got the nerve to do the vinegar method...I only needed to do it 5 days...scab formed...then it slowly healed away. The hot straight pin method is just one pop and done....Going to try that next

How do you get DHA? What foods or is it a tablet like a vitamin?
@Chinese_MartialArts3 жыл бұрын
I had a TIA in Nov , they put me on medication and I had one 2 weeks ago, Im confused because it always started from my leg first the crop slowly upwards then last my face, I s that normal. Is is normal to have another one even though you on medication. I don't smoke, no drink, no high blood pressure and just a little bit of cholesterol.

Thank you for the information Dr. Berg. Yesterday I had an event as I got out of my car. My vision suddenly became disoriented. If I closed one or the other eye I could at least stop the dizziness. I walked to a support column and collected myself. This was the second event in a week. I know the heat has been excessive and I chalked up to possible dehydration. Regardless, this information will help me discuss the event with my doctor.

Love your videos Dr Berg but remember Afib is not only caused by Potassium and other deficiencies. All my levels were fine. Doctors still are not sure what causes rogue cells in pulmonary vein to cause this but I'm now fine after my Heart Ablation.
